  • Publication number: 20240146163
Abstract: In a method for producing a short-circuit rotor of an asynchronous machine, a laminated core is formed with substantially axial slots and with an axial skew over an axial length of the laminated core, which axial skew is 0.3 to 3 times a slot pitch of the rotor. Conductor bars made of a first conductive material are inserted into the slots such that the conductor bars protrude out of end faces of the laminated core in a skewed manner out of the laminated core to define overhangs. At least the overhangs are coated with a galvanic layer of aluminum, tin or a solderable alloy to provide a lubricating layer. Individual laminations of a second conductive material are axially pressed onto the conductor bars such that the individual laminations short-circuit the conductor bars and form a short-circuit ring, which is composed of multiple individual laminations.

  • Patent number: 11522424
Abstract: A stator of an electric machine includes a laminated core having slots for receiving windings of a multiphase winding system. The windings have winding ends, which are encased with an insulator across a partial length. In order to encase the winding ends with the insulator, a strand of a thermoplastic material is extruded onto the winding ends via a nozzle. During extrusion, the nozzle is moved relative to the winding end along the longitudinal extent thereof and an oscillating movement of the nozzle transversely to the longitudinal extent of the winding end overlays the movement along the longitudinal extent. As a result the thermoplastic material lies on the winding end and around the respective winding end in the form of loops.

  • Publication number: 20220320975
Abstract: In a method for producing a squirrel-cage rotor of an asynchronous machine, conductor bars of a first conductive material are inserted into slots of a magnetically conductive body such as to project out of at least one end side to form a projection. A short-circuiting disc of a second conductive material is positioned under pressure on the projection with a clearance fit of approximately 0.1 mm relative to a radially outwardly open recess of the short-circuiting disc. The short-circuiting disc is heated while the conductor bars virtually contact the short-circuiting disc. At least the projection of the conductor bars is coated with a third material at a layer thickness to form an alloy with the first and second materials after heating so that the third material is fully dispersed in the first and second materials as a result of the third material being diffused into the first and second materials.

A short circuit ring disc made from a second conductive material and heated above the recrystallization temperature is axially pressed onto the protruding conductor rods on the end face of the laminated rotor core, taking into account a temperature range, a deformation, and the rate of deformation of the short circuit ring, with a permissible shear stress of the first and second conductive materials being locally exceeded and material transitions being caused by diffusion at an interface between the conductor rods and the short circuit ring, thereby resulting in microwelding.
