Abstract: A gastrostomy tube (1) comprises a head (10) having a port (15) for feeding a fluid, a tube section (11) extending from the head (10) and having a duct (150) for transporting a fluid fed into the port (15), and a cap assembly (2) attachable to the head (10). Herein the cap assembly (2) comprises a cap (20) forming an inner chamber (205), wherein in an assembled state of the gastrostomy tube (1) the head (10) is inserted into the inner chamber (205) of the cap (20). In this way a gastrostomy tube is provided which allows for an aesthetically pleasing appearance of the head of the gastrostomy tube and represent an as small as possible obstacle for a patient in everyday life.

Abstract: A port for a catheter includes a housing, a chamber arranged in the housing for receiving a medically active substance, a connecting piece for connecting the catheter to produce a flow connection between the chamber and the catheter, and at least one lever, mounted to be pivotable about a pivot axis and realized to allow the catheter to be fitted onto the connecting piece in a first pivot position and to hold the catheter in a clamping manner on the connecting piece in a second pivot position. The at least one lever has different first and second portions. The first portion carries a latching device for latching the at least one lever with the housing and/or with a first portion of a further lever in the second pivot position. The second portion has a clamping device for holding the catheter in the clamping manner in the second pivot position.

Abstract: The invention relates to a port for a catheter comprising a housing (10, 11), a chamber (120) disposed in the housing (10, 11) in order to accommodate a medical active substance, a connecting piece (122) for connection of a catheter (2), in order to produce a flow connection between the chamber (120) and the catheter (2), and at least one lever (14, 15) which is mounted pivotably about a pivot axis (102, 103) of the housing (10, 11), wherein the at least one lever (14, 15) is designed such that, in a first pivot position, the lever allows application of the catheter (2) to the connecting piece (122) and, in a second pivot position, the lever holds the catheter (2) in a clamping manner on the connecting piece (122).
