  • Patent number: 8875409
Abstract: A portable articulated arm coordinate measuring machine for measuring the coordinates of an object in space is provided. The AACMM includes a base and a arm portion having an opposed first end and second end. The arm portion includes a plurality of connected arm segments, each arm segment including at least one position transducer for producing a position signal. An electronic circuit is provided that receives the position signal from the at least one position transducer. A probe member is disposed is coupled to the first end. A noncontact three-dimensional measuring device is coupled to the probe member, the device having an electromagnetic radiation transmitter and is configured to determine a distance to an object based at least in part on the propagation time of the emitted and reflected light beams.

  • Patent number: 6802979
Abstract: A composition having a depot effect and a method for treating polluted waters and water sediments such that constituents that are hazardous to water are essentially decomposed or bound. Microbiological decomposition processes are long-term supported and water quality is improved without adding salt or decreasing the pH value. The composition contains one or more compounds which are produced by converting iron(III) nitrade and/or aluminium nitrade and hydrogen peroxide in the presence of a base and release oxygen and/or nitrations as oxygen donors in a prolonged manner when contacting water.

  • Publication number: 20020179539
Abstract: The invention relates to a composition having a depot effect and to a method for treating polluted waters and water sediments. The aim of the invention is to provide a simple and effective method and a composition for treating waters and water sediments. According to said method and composition, constituents that are hazardous for the water are essentially decomposed or bound, microbiological decomposition processes are long-term supported and water quality is improved without adding salt or decreasing the pH value. The composition contains one or more compounds which are produced by converting iron(III) nitrade and/or aluminium nitrade and hydrogen peroxide in the presence of a base and release oxygen and/or nitrations as oxygen donors in a prolonged manner when contacting water.

  • Patent number: 4328393
Abstract: In order to ensure a tight feed-in of the cable end in a fitting for plastic insulated electric cables, which includes an elastic, prefabricated insulator with a metallic housing, even if the cable is bent, a circular slot, the depth of which corresponds approximately to the length of the cylindrical base part of a control deflector embedded on the inside in the end of the insulating body of the insulator, is made in the cylindrical end of the insulator at the end face. The slot separates the elastic control part of the fitting into a mechanically effective and an electrically effective region.

  • Patent number: 4319073
Abstract: In order to be able to use a push on termination as an end termination in power cables whose conductors consist of a wire of sector-shaped cross section and a conductor insulation of thermoplastic or crosslinked polyethylene, the end termination is made of silicone rubber of a Shore A hardness of 35 max with the inner bore of the push on termination considerably smaller than the perimeter of the cable conductor, and the wall thickness of the push-on termination smaller than 15 mm.
