  • Patent number: 9921237
Abstract: A sensor apparatus for detecting a wheel speed of a vehicle has a rod-shaped sensor carrier and a sensor, which is introduced into the sensor carrier and, in order to detect the wheel speed, senses the rotation of a rotor rotating together with the wheel. The sensor apparatus has a carrier structure for accommodating the sensor and a potting compound for filling the sensor carrier. The surface, in particular the lateral surface, of the sensor carrier is formed by a plurality of interrupted, metal surface areas of the carrier structure and areas filled with the potting compound, wherein at least two metal surface areas are in the form of contact surfaces.

  • Publication number: 20100310309
Abstract: A terminus cap (2; 22; 52; 62) for a drive cable has a connection section (4; 24; 54; 64), which can be cold-formed, on the drive cable, and an end section (6; 26; 56; 66) made of plastic. The connection section (4; 24; 54; 66) has an opening (8; 28; 68) pointing toward the end section (6; 26; 56; 66), and the end section (6; 26; 56; 66) engages partially in the opening (8; 28; 68). An end section (6; 26; 56; 66) of the terminus cap (2; 22; 52; 62) may be fastened on the connection section (4; 24; 54; 64) of the drive cable. The drive cable with terminus cap can be used in pop-up and/or sliding roofs or sunscreen roller blinds of motor vehicles.

  • Patent number: 7624636
Abstract: A method and system for operating a sensor, particularly, a yaw rate sensor, which is housed inside a housing. In order to detect the potentially dangerous influence of mechanical vibrations upon the output of the sensor, the vibrations are sensed at the location of the sensor, and the sensor or an electronic device interacting with the sensor is switched off for as long as the vibrations exceed an established intensity. The method and system of the present invention can be used in a driving dynamics control system of a road vehicle, for example.

  • Patent number: 5279468
Abstract: A bowden-cable window-lifter drive including a cable reel in a covered housing. The reel is provided at its end face with drive pins and a coupling component connected to it so as to rotate jointly with a crank bolt engaging between the drive pins. The drive is characterized in that the crank bolt and the coupling component are two separate parts which, in the fully assembled state, are joined by a serration or the like to rotate together. In a pre-assembled condition, only the cable reel, the coupling component and a braking spring are contained in the cable-reel housing. Following installation of the window lifter in the vehicle door, the crank bolt is inserted from the door inner wall into the drive until the serrations at the crank bolt and at the coupling component are aligned.

  • Patent number: 4515035
Abstract: An improved curved cable support member adapted to the ends of the rail guides of a Bowden window lift. This support member (2) comprises at least one projecting first catch means at its side facing the rail guide (1), the projecting catch means is undercut so that a free gap about the material thickness of the guide rail (1) exists between a free-standing lip (3) and the body of the support member, and the free-standing lip (3) is provided at its inside with a beak (4) entering a corresponding clearance (5) in the guide rail when the support member is slipped onto the guide rail and secures the support member against being pulled off the guide rail.
