Patent number: 11054075Abstract: A coupling element for a pressure medium line hydraulic coupling includes a housing, a sleeve inner body, a pressure casing and a valve tappet. The housing has a flow channel for pressure medium. At least the inner body, the casing and the tappet can be shifted, during coupling, from a starting position, along the coupling axis in a first direction into a coupling position where a block secures a coupling plug to the coupling element. They can be shifted from the coupling position in a second direction opposite the first direction, along the coupling axis into a stop position blocking further movement of the casing in the second direction. The inner body and the tappet are moveable further in the second direction into an open position where a flow cross-section is released between the casing and the tappet and a lock acts on the inner body and the tappet.Type: GrantFiled: September 25, 2018Date of Patent: July 6, 2021Assignee: U.M. Gewerbeimmobilien GmbH & Co. KGInventors: Artur Firus, Klaus Laufer

The pressure sleeve (7) encloses the valve tappet (8). The pressure sleeve (7) can be displaced along the coupling axis A and is held between a closing position, in which the flow channel (5) is locked, and an opening position, in which the flow channel (5) is unlocked. The pressure sleeve (7) is loaded by a pressure spring (10) in the closing direction. A coupling force must be applied by a user to produce a positive coupling to a coupling plug (2).Type: GrantFiled: November 16, 2016Date of Patent: January 5, 2021Assignee: U.M. Patent number: 10767800Abstract: The invention relates to a coupling element (1) for a coupling for connection of pressure medium lines, including a housing (2), a flow channel (5) for a pressure medium, a valve tappet (6), a pressure sleeve (7), and an inner body (8), wherein the valve tappet (6) has a valve tappet head (10), wherein the pressure sleeve (7) surrounds the valve tappet (6), wherein the pressure sleeve (7) is held such that it can move along the coupling axis A between a closed position and an open position, wherein the pressure sleeve (7) is in contact with the valve tappet head (10) in the closed position thereof, whereby a force parallel to the coupling axis A acts upon the valve tappet head (10) from the pressure sleeve (7). The safety for users and the operating characteristics are improved, in that the inner body (8) and/or the pressure sleeve (7) have means with which the force from the pressure sleeve (7) acting on the valve tappet head (10) can be limited.Type: GrantFiled: November 14, 2016Date of Patent: September 8, 2020Assignee: U.M. Patent number: 9709199Abstract: A coupling part coupling with a corresponding coupling part of a coupling for pressure medium lines has a housing having a flow channel and a coupling axis, and a sleeve-like closing valve displaceable back and forth axially within the flow channel, for closing off the flow channel in the uncoupled state of the coupling part. The closing valve has a closed valve position and an open valve position, closing off and not closing the flow channel, respectively. A plunger within the flow channel displaceable back and forth axially drives the closing valve in a valve opening direction during coupling. A plunger pin between the plunger and the closing valve within the flow channel, displaceable back and forth axially, transfers the movement of the plunger in the valve opening direction to the closing valve. The plunger pin is connected with the closing valve so as to be non-displaceable axially.Type: GrantFiled: July 9, 2015Date of Patent: July 18, 2017Assignee: U.M. Gewerbeimmobilien GmbH & Co.
