  • Publication number: 20110284593
Abstract: The invention relates to a drinks container (2), produced from a thermoplastic material, in particular PET, comprising a tapping valve unit (9) and a CO2 pressurized gas dispenser arranged in the interior of the container for discharging the liquid of the drink and having assigned to it a pressure regulating unit (8), which releases the pressurized gas from the CO2 pressurized gas dispenser into the liquid of the drink as soon as the pressure in the drinks container (2) drops when liquid is removed. The intention is to provide a drinks container that allows a simpler construction and improved handling. For this purpose, the CO2 pressurized gas dispenser is a container (3) that likewise consists of thermoplastic PET material and is filled from the outset with CO2 pressurized gas.

  • Publication number: 20110280502
Abstract: The invention relates to a device connecting a container for receiving liquid beverages, such as beer, soft drinks and wine, to a fitting (3), wherein the container is designed as a bladder (1) which, at the top, at the head end thereof, is designed with a collar-like connecting means (14) which can be connected to the fitting (3) for the purpose of bottling the liquid, the fitting having closable openings (5, 6) for both a pressurized gas and for the liquid. The aim is to create a connection option between the container/the bladder (1) and the fitting (3) that is secure and easily replaceable. For this purpose, the invention provides an adapter ring (15; 115) which connects the connecting means (14) of the bladder (1) to a detent groove (8) in the fitting (3) from the outside and which engages in the detent groove (8) with a detent projection (16; 116).

  • Publication number: 20100102087
Abstract: The invention relates to a beverage pouring device in the form of a disposable barrel for the compressed-gas operated pouring of beverages such as beer, wine and soft drinks that are kept at drinking temperature, e.g. using compressed CO2. Said device consists of a multi-part container (100), a safety fitting (8) located on top of the container, a fitting pipe (10) that is immersed in the container interior and a detachable tap head that can be placed on the safety fitting or a connection piece that can be placed on said fitting during the filling process. When a lever is actuated, the head or piece displaces a seal that is situated in an external housing of the safety fitting, said housing connecting the safety fitting to the container body, downwards against an elastic force into a position that opens the liquid channel for the liquid beverage that rises via the fitting pipe. The device also optionally comprises a base and top ring.

  • Patent number: 6820775
Abstract: A beverage container has a cylindrical lower side wall and floor defining a lower beverage chamber and centered on an axis, a cylindrical upper side wall and upper wall centered on the axis and defining an upper pressurized-gas chamber, and an annular partition having an outer edge welded to an upper edge of the lower side wall and a lower edge of the upper side wall and a center part closely juxtaposed with the upper wall of the upper chamber. A tap assembly mounted on the upper-chamber upper wall has a riser tube projecting through the partition center part into a lower region of the lower chamber. An upper protective ring is fitted to the upper part and to the valve assembly and a lower protective ring is fitted to the lower part. The rings and side walls have the same diameters.

  • Patent number: 6662963
Abstract: A vessel including a vessel body formed of metal and having an approximately cylindrical wall, a bottom and a cover, and a plastic ring provided at each of opposite ends of the vessel body and extending radially beyond the vessel body, with at least one of the plastic rings including a flange ring, a shaped ring which abuts a section of the vessel body, and an intermediate ring which connects the flange ring with the shaped ring and has a neck portion.

  • Patent number: 4558735
Abstract: A heat baffle plate of aluminum or another good heat-conducting metal is secured on a steel member. Since aluminum cannot be welded to steel, connections are utilized which result in a good heat-conducting connection but without direct welding. For example, a steel plate can be placed over a portion of the heat baffle plate and then be welded through openings in the aluminum plate to the steel member. The baffle plate can alternatively be supported by a form-locking engagement with a holding plate of steel which is welded to the steel member. The better heat conductivity of the aluminum baffle plate causes the heat emission or heat absorption to be substantially increased for a given structural arrangement in comparison to a heat baffle plate of steel.
