  • Patent number: 9528773
Abstract: A plate heat exchanger may include a plurality of plates stacked one upon each other forming a stack. Each plate may alternately span a first and a second flow space forming a first and second medium respectively. Each plate may have a circumferential edge and a basin-shaped design. Two adjacent plates may be connected to each other via the circumferential edges. An end plate may be connected to at least one adjacent plate at least one end of the stack, wherein the circumferential edge of the at least on adjacent plate is supported on the end plate by a wall face of the end plate. The edge of the at least one adjacent plate may be formed parallel and fixedly connected to the wall face. The end plate may include an aluminium alloy, wherein the wall face is formed between two flat, generally parallel surfaces of the end plate.

  • Patent number: 9151542
Abstract: A heat exchanger may include a connection plate for fastening to a component and a plurality of pan elements stacked on top of each other and soldered together adjacent to the connection plate. At least one of the pan elements may be arranged directly adjacent to the connection plate may have an outwardly protruding, flange-like rim configured to rest against the connection plate and stiffen the same.

  • Patent number: 8418752
Abstract: A plate heat exchanger with a plurality of separating walls stacked one above the other, which alternatingly define a first and second flow space for a first and second medium, includes at least one turbulence generator being positioned in at least one flow space, which comprises a plate with a number of parallel-running band-like rows of alternating elevations and depressions mutually connected by bridges, where the elevations and depressions of each row are shifted with respect to each immediately adjacent row, and where each row is provided with at least one transition area for the medium to pass to the immediately adjacent row, such that the depressions of each row are flow-connected with the immediately adjacent elevations of at least one immediately adjacent row.
