Abstract: A rail vehicle for transporting people, which is in the form of an articulated train-type multiple unit, includes at least two car bodies. Adjoining car bodies are supported on a common central running gear and end car bodies are additionally supported on end running gears. All of the running gears have a distance between the centers of the bogies of two adjoining running gears of from 18 to 21 m, and the end car bodies have a length of from 24 to 27 m.

Abstract: A vehicle, in particular a rail vehicle, includes a passenger region and a luggage region. The passenger region and the luggage region are separate and at least one luggage input device for transferring luggage from the passenger region into the luggage region, and at least one luggage output device for transferring luggage from the luggage region into the passenger region are provided. The luggage region is equipped with a luggage transport device which, when an item of luggage is delivering to the luggage input device, transports the respective piece of luggage to a storage point of the luggage region and, when there is a return request at the luggage output device, transports the respective item of luggage to the luggage output device. A luggage storage device for a vehicle and a method for storing luggage in a vehicle are also provided.

Abstract: A rail vehicle includes at least one boarding area for passengers to board from and/or disembark onto a platform, at least one restroom area and at least one seating area. The floor in the seating area and the floor in the boarding area are raised or at least can be raised to a floor level higher than the floor level in the restroom area. A method of assembling a rail vehicle floor is also provided.

Abstract: A rail vehicle for transporting passengers includes a plurality of passenger seats which form a seating configuration and are fastened in the rail vehicle. A guiding device is provided for at least one passenger seat for moving the passenger seat in the vertical direction to directly below a ceiling of the rail vehicle and a locking device is provided for locking the passenger seat below the ceiling.
