  • Patent number: 8801339
Abstract: A conveyor device is used for the pneumatic conveying of bulk material. The conveyor device has a main conveyor pipe and a plurality of bypass conveyor pipe sections which are separate from one another and arranged one behind the other within the latter. The main extent direction of the bypass conveyor pipe sections runs along the main conveyor pipe. The bypass conveyor pipe sections in each case have an inlet opening and an outlet opening for conveyor gas. The inlet opening, when the main conveyor pipe is horizontally installed, is arranged in a cross sectional portion of the main conveyor pipe, which is located above a cross sectional portion of the main conveyor pipe, in which the outlet opening is arranged. The result is a conveyor device, of which the efficiency, in other words the ratio of the conveying power and the conveyor gas quantity used, is improved.

  • Publication number: 20130170926
Abstract: A loading system for loading bulk material from a bulk material production plant onto a ship has at least one stationary intermediate storage container for receiving the bulk material from the bulk material production plant. A first loading conveying device is used to convey the bulk material from the bulk material production plant into the intermediate storage container. A second loading conveying device is used to convey the bulk material from the intermediate storage container into the ship. An unloading system for loading bulk material from a ship onto transporters has a stationary intermediate storage container for receiving the bulk material from the ship. Two unloading conveying devices are used to convey the bulk material, from the ship into the intermediate storage container and, from the intermediate storage container into the transporters.

  • Patent number: 8312416
Abstract: Methods and apparatus, including computer program products, to realize a software model are described. Process components are defined that characterize software implementing respective and distinct business processes and additionally define at least one process agent that enables communications between a business object associated with the corresponding process component and a business object associated with any other process component. Business Process Variant Types are also defined that associate one or more of the process agents for the corresponding process component so that selection of a process variant type causes the associated one or more process agents to be activated.

  • Patent number: 8255429
Abstract: Various embodiments include one or more of systems, methods, software, and data structures to provide flexibility when configuring systems to new or different processes while not disrupting incomplete processes. Some embodiments include receiving input representative of a configuration change to at least one configuration setting and storing a copy of a setting of the at least one configuration setting from a current configuration to an historical configuration setting storage location. Such embodiments may further include storing the input representative of the configuration change into the current configuration. Following such configuring processes already initiated may be completed according to the copied historical configuration setting and new processes may be initiated according to the new configuration setting. • Patent number: 7720826
Abstract: In a database whose entries contain values organized in categories, a first query is performed that includes input query values respectively associated with at least some of the categories and that seeks entries whose values match each input query value. Upon finding no entries, a category whose input query value to eliminate is identified. A second query is performed that includes the input query values except for the identified at least one category. The second query seeks any of the entries whose values match each of the input query values of the second query and that has no specified value for the identified at least one category. A data structure is configured to indicate an order that at least some of several categories will be eliminated when generating a new query after a previous query does not result in a match among entries of a database.

  • Publication number: 20080127082
Abstract: A system and method for requirements-based application configuration. According to an embodiment of the invention, a configuration server provides a user interface to assess one or more requirements for an application based on a set of pre-defined application requirements, generates a configuration proposal based on the one or more assessed requirements, the configuration proposal specifying a subset of the set of pre-defined application requirements correlating with the one or more assessed requirements, stores the one or more assessed requirements in the data store, and generates one or more application configuration components correlating with the specified subset of pre-defined application requirements to implement the application in accordance with the one or more assessed requirements.
