Abstract: A one-component thermosetting coating composition containing of one or more chemically setting binders, at least one curing or crosslinking agent, and one or more toughening substances, the composition being semisolid and tackfree at temperatures <50.degree. C., wherein the chemically setting binders have an average molecular weight (M.sub.w) of between 500 and 250,000, a melting point of more than 50.degree. C., a glass transition temperature of more than 20.degree. C. and cure fully at temperatures in the range from 80 to 250.degree. C.

Abstract: A coating material crosslinkable by radiation comprising a) an olefinic unsaturated ester of an epoxy novolac resin, b) a binder formed by reaction of an epoxy compound having more than one epoxide group per molecule with at least one carboxylic acid in a molar ratio of epoxy groups per carboxyl group of 1:0.5 to 0.9 and subsequent reaction of the resulting reaction product with at least one unsaturated isocyanate ester formed by reaction of a compound with at least two isocyanate groups with a member of the group consisting of hydroxyl containing acrylic acid, methacrylic acid and cyanacrylic acid esters, c) at least one latent hardener, d) at least one photoinitiator e) 80-120% by weight of fillers and (f) additives, adjuvants and solvents and protective films formed with them.

Abstract: Binder mixtures crosslinkable by radiation comprising as component A a product obtained by reaction of an epoxy compound with more than one epoxide group per molecule with at least one carboxylic acid in a molar ratio of epoxide groups to carboxyl groups of 1:0.5-0.9 and subsequent reaction of the reaction product with at least one unsaturated isocyanatocarbamate esters and as component B a product obtained by reaction of an epoxy compound with more than one epoxide group per molecule with at least one olefinic unsaturated carboxylic acid in a molar ratio of epoxide groups to carboxyl groups of 1:>>1 and subsequent reaction of the reaction product with at least one polybasic carboxylic acid or anhydride(s) thereof, components A and B being present in a weight ratio of 3:1 to 1:3 useful for the product of superior photo-resists and protective lacquers.
