  • Patent number: 11328841
Abstract: Methods and devices for producing a superconductive conductor are disclosed. The method includes providing a plurality of conductive strips by means of a strip provision device, applying liquid soldering agent onto the plurality of conductive strips, stacking the conductive strips wetted with soldering agent, and forming a superconductive body by machining the strip stack.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: August 10, 2016
Date of Patent: May 10, 2022
Inventors: Walter Fietz, Michael J. Wolf, Reinhard Heller, Klaus-Peter Weiss
  • Patent number: 10825585
Abstract: A superconductive conductor and method of using the superconductive conductor is described. The superconductive conductor includes a plurality of first conductive strips with a first width and a plurality of second conductive strips with a second width, and a strip stack formed from the first and second conductive strips that has a cruciform-shaped cross section.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: August 10, 2016
Date of Patent: November 3, 2020
    Assignee: Karlsruher Institut für Technologie
Inventors: Walter Fietz, Michael J. Wolf, Reinhard Heller, Klaus-Peter Weiss
  • Patent number: 10218090
Abstract: The disclosed connector can be used to connect superconductive conductors. The connector, which is suitable for electrically connecting at least one first superconductive conductor to at least one second superconductive conductor, includes an electrically conductive base element having a first end portion and a second end portion, and at least one superconductive additional element arranged in the base element extending from the first end portion to the second end portion of the base element.
    Type: Grant

  • Patent number: 8168036
Abstract: An apparatus and a method for the removal of pellicles from masks which can be used for photolithographic purposes. The pellicles are removed from masks in a universal manner without them being further contaminated or damaged. In an apparatus, at least one grip is present for the manipulation of masks provided with pellicles which has at least two fixing elements which engage at the edge of a mask with exerted pressure force. There are moreover present in this connection at least one detector for the contactless determination of the position of mounts formed at the radially outer edge of pellicles, and a heating device for the heating of an adhesive with which pellicles are fastened to a mask with material continuity, and a removal apparatus of the pellicles from a mask having a mask fixing unit and a pellicle removal unit.
    Type: Grant
