  • Patent number: 10094419
Abstract: A hybrid shaft bearing, a wind generator comprising the hybrid shaft bearing, a use of the hybrid shaft bearing, and a method of operating the hybrid shaft bearing is provided. The hybrid shaft bearing comprises a hydrodynamic friction bearing and a rolling bearing. Both the hydrodynamic friction and rolling bearings cooperate with a support structure and rotatably support a shaft. The hydrodynamic friction bearing is a passive hydrodynamic bearing.

Date of Patent: October 9, 2018
    Assignee: AREVA WIND GMBH
Inventors: Samer Mtauweg, Joachim Arndt, Klaus Pischel
  • Patent number: 9677606
Abstract: A bidirectional bearing, a drive train, a planetary gear and a wind generator having a bidirectional bearing are provided. A bidirectional bearing comprises an outer bearing shell having a first intermediate bearing shell, which is coupled to the shaft and which cooperates with the outer bearing shell. The bidirectional bearing further comprises a second intermediate bearing shell, which is arranged opposite to the outer bearing shell with respect to the first intermediate bearing shell. The second intermediate bearing shell is configured to take up a first load having a first direction from the first intermediate bearing shell. Furthermore, the first second intermediate bearing shell is configured to receive a second load having a second direction, which is substantially opposite to the first direction. The first intermediate bearing shell receives the second load from the second intermediate bearing shell and is configured to transfer this second load to the outer bearing shell.

  • Publication number: 20160319908
Abstract: A planetary gear is utilized and a wind generator, in particular an off-show wind generator. The planetary gear comprises a drive wheel engaging a transmission stage having first planetary gears, which are coupled to a number of second planet gears being axially displaced with respect to the first planet gears. The second planet gears engage a sun wheel, which is coupled to a driven shaft. The drive wheel is a hollow wheel having an internal gear. The second planet gears are divided into a first subset and a second subset of gears. The two subsets of gears are arranged in two separate planes being spaced from each other in an axial direction. Furthermore, the second planet gears of the first subset are arranged inside an interior space of the drive wheel.

  • Publication number: 20160312771
Abstract: A planetary gear has a driving or driven wheel engaging a transmission stage having first planet gears, which are coupled to a corresponding number of second planet gears being axially displaced with respect to the first planet gears. The second planet gears engage gears of at least one sun wheel coupled to a driven or driving shaft. The second planet gears are divided into a first subset and a second subset, which are arranged in two separate planes spaced from each other in an axial direction. The first planet gears of the first subset are coupled to their corresponding second planet gears using first shafts and the first planet gears of the second subset are coupled to their corresponding second planet gears using second shafts. The first shafts have a first length and the second shafts have a second length that differs from the first length.

  • Publication number: 20110138963
Abstract: A sealing device is provided. The sealing device is for sealing a space formed by an inner shaft and an outer shaft and for directing a flow of fluid, the inner shaft and the outer shaft being rotatable about a common coaxial axis. The sealing device includes an inner seal element adapted for being coupled to the inner shaft so that the inner seal element is locked against rotation relative to the inner shaft, the inner seal element including a first inner sealing surface. The sealing device further includes an outer seal element adapted for being coupled to the outer shaft so that the outer seal element is locked against rotation relative to the outer shaft, the outer seal element including a first outer sealing surface.
