  • Publication number: 20090032413
Abstract: The invention relates to a multi-compartment packaging comprising a base part provided with at least two cups (11,12) which are used to receive the components, and a cover film which is connected to the base part. The components can be mixed together by exerting pressure on the connection area between the at least two cups which, as a result, becomes detached. The cover film is made of at least two films (20,30) having different structures. One section or one surface arranged above at least one cup (11) is covered by only one of the two films (20). Due to said selective covering of the base part and/or the components located in the two cups by the films adapted to the user profile of the compartments, the desired physical properties can be adjusted in a separate manner in relation to the density and/or light-impermability for the two cups.

  • Publication number: 20070189835
Abstract: The invention relates to a packaging comprising an applicator (1.4; 2.2; 3.2; 4.1; 5.1; 6.1; 7.1; 8.1; 9.5; 10.5) for applying liquid and pasty media. Said applicator consists of a material which is permeable to the medium (1.5; . . . ) and is connected to a receiving opening (1.6; . . . ) of the packaging (1.0; . . . ; 10.0), at least in parts of the contact surface, covering the same. The packaging and applicator thus form a unit in which the applicator is positioned above the outlet for the content of the packaging. In this way, a packaging is created in a customer-friendly manner, with a secure connection between the packaging and the applicator, that, together with the shape of the applicator, essentially influences the guiding of the product. The packaging can thus be handled safely e.g. undesired rapid discharge of the product and injuries caused by sharp edges are prevented.

  • Publication number: 20060069308
Abstract: The invention relates to an endoscope for medical and non-medical purposes having a housing and a shaping element positioned in the housing containing a hygroscopic substance. To design a medical instrument of the aforementioned type in such a manner than the hygroscopic substance can be integrated into the housing simply and securely with the greatest possible drying effect, it is proposed in keeping with the invention that the binding agent is also a hygroscopically active substance.

  • Publication number: 20050147247
Abstract: The present invention relates to television systems and methods, and more particularly, to interactive television systems having user equipment that includes a point of deployment (“POD”) host device and POD modules for use in conjunction with the POD host device. The interactive televisions systems may have different user equipment arrangements for supporting one or more POD modules. The POD modules may provide a user of the interactive television system with access to various programs and services. The POD module may also implement a back-channel communications link with a service provider. The POD module may also receive modules which may upgrade the hardware or software of the interactive television system.

  • Patent number: 6705541
Abstract: A fragrance dispenser having a reservoir to receive an aroma carrier, the fragrances of which can escape at least partially through a dispensing opening when pressure is exerted onto the reservoir. The reservoir may have the shape of a bottle, wherein the dispensing opening, which is preferably designed as a snap-off opening, is disposed in the thinner region, i.e at the neck of the bottle. A packaging element preferably extends beyond the dispensing region of the reservoir, the packaging element being designed in that region in such a way that it interacts with a seal of the dispensing opening of the reservoir. The reservoir or packaging element may be designed as a free-standing package.

  • Patent number: 6419628
Abstract: An endoscope has an outer tube that is joined to an optical head having an observation element at its end, which elements are sealingly fitted forming a first module element. An inner tube sealingly fitted together with a housing containing optical elements form a second module element having the optical components hermetically closed. The second module element is disposed in the first module element having its distal ends rigidly and sealingly fitted together. The housing of the second module elements extends into said optical head of that first module element and is supported therein allowing relative movement between housing and optical head when thermally stressed.
