  • Publication number: 20080265190
Abstract: An electromagnetic pressure regulating valve device for regulating a hydraulic pressure including at least one pressure regulating valve which includes a solenoid part having at least one bobbin holding an electric coil, a coil core and a movably guided armature; a valve part having at least one supply connection, one return connection, one load connection and one actuating element operated by the armature and cooperating with a valve seat; and an electronic part having at least one pressure sensor for measuring the hydraulic pressure present at the load connection. At least the pressure sensor is situated on an end of the solenoid part facing the valve part upstream from the electronic part. Positioning the pressure sensor close to the valve part may substantially reduce the filter effect of the transmission link, and the hydraulic pressure to be measured is therefore transmittable free of errors up to a much higher cutoff frequency.

  • Patent number: 6273122
Abstract: The magnetic valve (16,17) is arrangeable in a multipart housing (12) and includes a coil-part group (64,128) and a valve subassembly (138). The valve subassembly (138) is arrangeable in a valve seat (94,95) provided in a housing (12). The valve subassembly (138) includes a punched seat disk (170) and a punched and deep-drawn valve cap (152), which extend into the valve seat (94,95). A pin insert (214,224) is provided between the valve cap (152) and the seat disk (170). The pin insert (214,224) is connected with one end of a longitudinally slidable pin (202) attached to an armature (194). The magnetic valve can be operated to alternately connect a consumer connection (A) with an inlet connection (P) or a return connection (T). A module (10) including a pair or pairs of these magnetic valves (16,17) is also disclosed. Each pair of valves can includes one valve that is open and another valve that is closed when current flows through their coils.

  • Patent number: 6220300
Abstract: The module for an electrohydraulic transmission controlling device includes a plurality of magnetic valves (16,17) arranged in a housing (12). The housing (12) includes a control block (24) and a cover (22) for the control block (24). The cover (22) is made by a MID casting method and the control block (24) is made by a thixotropic casting process. Component groups (14), especially a resistor (18), a switch (20) and magnetic valves, are arranged in the housing (12). By making the cover in a MID casting method and the control block by a thixotropic casting process the manufacture of the module is more economical and the assembly is simplified.

  • Patent number: 6152422
Abstract: An electromagnetic directional control valve has a magnetic part including a coil body, a coil arrangement of the coil body, a magnetic pole mounted on the coil body, a flux guiding element, and an armature, and a hydraulic part provided with passages and at least one valve which controls a pressure medium flow to the passages, and an outwardly mounted fixing element which fixes the magnetic pole on the coil body.

  • Patent number: 5447288
Abstract: An electromagnetic valve, in particular switching or pressure regulating valve for an automatic transmission of motor vehicles has a magnet housing, a magnet coil with a coil body received in the magnet housing, a valve member, a magnet armature through which the magnet coil cooperates with the valve member, a valve closing part connected with the magnet housing, electrical contacts for controlling the magnet coils and arranged outside of the magnet housing, and conductors extending through the magnet housing and connecting the electrical contacts with the magnet coil. The magnet housing is composed of at least two magnet casing elements, including a first magnet casing element and also a second magnet casing element which at least partially overlaps the first magnet casing element, at least one of the magnet casing elements having a recess through which the conductors extend to the electrical contacts.

  • Patent number: 5246033
Abstract: An electromagnetically actuatable double seat valve, has a housing having a housing opening and a throughgoing longitudinal opening, a valve body formed as a cylindrical hollow body slidingly guided in the housing opening, an electromagnet having an armature, a plunger fixedly connecting the armature of the electromagnet with the valve body so as to actuate the valve body and slidingly guided in the throughgoing longitudinal opening. The longitudinal opening has a part which faces away of the electromagnet and forming a consumer connection, a container connection and a pump connection. A pressure spring loads the valve body against the plunger so that a passage leads from the consumer connection to the container connection. The valve body has an end side facing away of the armature and provided with a radially outwardly extending collar. A plate closes the housing opening and supporting the pressure spring. A first flat seat is in the housing and a second opposite flat is on the plate.

  • Patent number: 5076323
Abstract: An electromagnetic valve for controlling fluid flow to and from a load includes a valve stem movable, upon excitation of an armature, to lift a valve body from a first valve seat against pressure of a pressure fluid to enable flow of the pressure fluid to the load. The valve stem has a blocking portion remote from the valve body and which is lifted from a second valve seat located adjacent to the armature, in an unexcited condition of the armature, by the valve body to enable flow of fluid from the load past the second valve seat through at least one bore formed in the armature, to a reservoir.
