  • Patent number: 6234475
Abstract: Transporting apparatus for individual sheets, having two transporting paths which are aligned at an angle to one another. A diverter arrangement with a first diverter body, which can be adjusted in a translatory manner, and a second diverter body, which can be pivoted about its longitudinal axis synchronously with said first diverter body, serves for optionally guiding a single sheet along the first transporting path, deflecting the sheet into the second transporting path or deflecting it back from there into the first transporting path. For this purpose, a first diverter surface and a third diverter surface, which is aligned at an acute angle to the first diverter surface, are formed on the first diverter body. The second diverter body bears a second diverter surface.

  • Patent number: 4676680
Abstract: A printing apparatus having a printing base with a printing head located to perform a printing operation along said printed base operating with a color transfer band and a recording medium and with a scraper device separating the color transfer band and the recording medium. The printing head swivels between a work position and an insertion position at which the color transfer band and the recording carrier are inserted into the apparatus and the scraper device is supported in the vicinity of the printing base so that it will retain a position between the color transfer band and the printing carrier when the print head is swiveled into the insertion position so that during insertion of the color transfer band and the printing carrier, the scraper means is retained therebetween while the print head is supported on the color transfer band and the printing base during swiveling into the work position.

  • Patent number: 4589143
Abstract: An information processing mechanism having a combined printing and reading head wherein the reading head is maintained as close as possible to the printing head by providing means for deflecting light entering the reading head so that the organization of the reading head may be arranged with a reading window thereof through which light enters the reading head arranged adjacent the printing head between a printing needle guide member and a magnet carrier of the printing head, the magnet carrier having a wider dimension than the printing needle guide member.

  • Patent number: 4141660
Abstract: A data-processing machine having a single operator station is provided with a printer comprising a supply holder on the front of the machine next to the operator station for holding a form band, a support on the machine next to the station with an upwardly concave surface, and a receptacle on the back of the machine below the support for catching the printed form band. A guide and a transport device is provided for guiding the band up from the supply holder in the front of the machine, over the surface of the printing station and down to the receptacle. A printing head which is vertically displaceable above the upwardly concave surface is displaceable horizontally along the surface to print the band. A guide slot extending down toward the supply is pivotal between a down position for normal operation of the machine and a raised position for threading a new form band in and a detent is provided for holding it in the up position during reloading.
