  • Publication number: 20180297582
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for operating a drive device (1) of a motor vehicle, comprising an internal combustion engine (2) having a first exhaust gas turbocharger (5) and a second exhaust gas turbocharger (6), and comprising at least one electric machine (3), wherein the exhaust gas turbochargers (5, 6) are connected in series, wherein at least the second exhaust gas turbocharger (6) has means for varying the output thereof, and wherein the output at least of the second exhaust gas turbocharger (6) is varied in accordance with a required target torque of the drive device (1). According to the invention, the electric machine (3) is controlled in accordance with the time of the variation, in order to compensate for a deviation of an actual torque of the drive device (1) from the target torque.

  • Patent number: 9211787
Abstract: In a method for calibrating a measuring signal of an exhaust gas probe or a control signal of a fuel dosing device of a vehicle equipped with a hybrid drive including an internal combustion engine and at least one electric motor, the vehicle being able to be driven also by an electric motor exclusively, the gas transport for calibrating the signal of the exhaust gas probe or the fuel dosing device is induced by an engine drag operation of the vehicle, in which the internal combustion engine is dragged by the at least one electric motor while the fuel supply is deactivated.

  • Patent number: 8985852
Abstract: A CT scanner gantry comprises a base with a tiltable frame holding a rotating part, the rotating part having a rotation axis and drive means for tilting the tiltable frame with respect to the base. Furthermore, a tilt drive control unit is provided to control the drive means. In inclination sensor is provided at the tiltable frame to indicate the inclination of the tiltable frame with respect to the center of gravity of earth to the tilt drive control unit.

  • Patent number: 6808786
Abstract: An automotive tufted carpet with improved acoustic properties is formed with a two-part primary backing. The first backing layer is formed of a woven or non-woven material, and the second backing layer is formed of a microfilament spunlaced material possessing sound absorbing acoustic properties. The first backing layer and second backing layer are thermobonded together with an adhesive web positioned therebetween to form the two-part primary backing. Tufts of yarn are then sewn through the two-part primary backing. The resulting acoustically enhanced automotive tufted carpet may be backcoated or precoated, and may have a secondary backing adhered thereto as a matter of choice.
