  • Patent number: 9371704
Abstract: A device and a method for positioning a tool in a well tubular. The device comprising a housing having jacking arm assemblies with extendable jacking arms for fixating the device inside the well tubular. The device further comprising a tool connected to the housing and bellow assemblies comprising inflatable means for positioning the device substantially in the center of the well tubular. By deflating the inflatable means and simultaneously activating the jacking arms the device is pushed in a direction which is substantially perpendicular to the well tubular.

  • Patent number: 8833447
Abstract: The invention relates to a separating device for tubular flow-through devices (22) which serve for the extraction of liquids or gases from wells drilled in rock or deep wells, the separating device being suitable for the removal of sand and rock particles and comprising an annular stack (20) of brittle-hard annular disks, the disks (30) being stacked and braced in such a way that a separating gap (37) for the removal of sand and rock particles is present in each case between the individual disks (30), a coupling-on element (18, 19) at one or both ends of the annular stack (20), a clamping device at one or both ends of the annular stack (20), making it possible on the one hand to flexibly brace the brittle-hard disks (30) and on the other hand to variably fasten the annular stack (20) on the tubular flow-through device (22).

  • Publication number: 20140175689
Abstract: A method for use in reshaping a deformed tubing section (52) comprises locating an inflatable bladder (22) of a tubing reshaping apparatus (10) within a deformed tubing section (52) while the inflatable bladder (22) is in a collapsed configuration, and inflating the inflatable bladder (22) with a fluid to radially expand said bladder (22) to reshape the deformed tubing section (52). Further, a tubing reshaping apparatus (10) for use in reshaping a deformed tubing section (52) comprises a reshaping module (20) configured to be located within a deformed tubing section (52) and comprises an inflatable bladder (22) to be inflated by application of fluid pressure to expand and reshape the deformed tubing section (52), wherein the reshaping module (20) further comprises a reinforcing structure (24) associated with the inflatable bladder (22). A fluid control module (30) may be provided for controlling inflation of the reshaping module (20).
