At least one of the two side sidewalls includes a material having magnetic properties for interacting with a bobbin case having magnetically-attractive properties to apply drag to a thread being unwound from the bobbin and to retard overspin of the bobbin upon a reduction of the rate of removal of thread from the bobbin.
