  • Patent number: 10549947
Abstract: A method and a system for determining the position of an elevator car of an elevator system, which car is arranged for travel in an elevator hoistway, includes equipping the elevator car with an acceleration sensor that registers acceleration data in a computing unit, calculation by the computing unit of the current position and/or of the velocity of the elevator car, and equipping the elevator system with an image-recording unit, which unit records recorded images of the elevator hoistway. The computing unit compares the recorded images with current mapping images of the elevator hoistway to determine an image-based current position of the elevator car. Finally, the computing unit undertakes a recalibration of the current position using the image-based current position.

  • Patent number: 7684918
Abstract: The invention relates to a PTO brake control system. There is a need for an improved and safe PTO brake control system. A PTO may be put into a driven and a non-driven condition an is braked by a PTO brake. A PTO brake control system includes a vehicle speed sensor and an ECU for controlling the PTO brake. The ECU deactivates the PTO brake when the vehicle is stationary and the PTO is not driven. This allows the PTO to be manually rotated to facilitate coupling of the PTO to an implement.

  • Patent number: 6581738
Abstract: An emergency release device for the parking lock of a motor vehicle is described which contains an locking device (46,44,38,24,12,10) that is pressed into its engaged position by a spring element (42,50) and which can move into its disengaged position by at least one actuator (46) that is actuated by a control element (56,58) against the spring force. The locking device (46,44,38,24,12,10) can be linked with a clutch pedal located on the operator's station by releasable mechanical connecting elements (108,110,112), in such a way that it is possible to emergency-release the parking lock in case of vehicle malfunction.

  • Patent number: 6145859
Abstract: A hydro-pneumatic axle spring suspension system for the driven axle of an agricultural utility vehicle, in particular for the front axle of an agricultural tractor, is described, which contains at least one hydraulic cylinder arranged between the vehicle chassis and axle body. The rod end chamber and the piston end chamber of the hydraulic cylinder are each connected with at least one accumulator. Furthermore a valve circuit supplied by a hydraulic pump is provided for the control of the level, which controls the pressure of the accumulators as a function of the load on the axle body.To improve the operating and spring characteristics of the utility vehicle it is proposed that the mechanical and hydraulic components be designed for a spring suspension under maximum load of the axle body.

  • Patent number: 5109730
Abstract: A power shift stage in the driveline of an internal combustion engine, is shifted depending on the load on the engine between at least two rotational speed ratios. A control system automatically controls shifting to improve driving comfort and increase productivity. The control system includes a switch connected to a fuel adjusting element or throttle, an engine rotational speed sensor and a control unit. The control unit automatically shifts the power shift stage in dependence upon the status of the switch and upon the sensed engine speed.

  • Patent number: 4709941
Abstract: The telescopic adjusting crank for adjusting a lift link of a tractor 3-point hitch consists of an upper outer tube, an inner shaft and a slide tube wherein the slide tube is fixedly connected to the upper end of the inner shaft and is slidably positioned within the upper outer tube. The slide tube is of a greater dimension than the shaft so that a gap remains between the outer tube and the inner shaft. The outer tube and the sliding tube are of such lengths that the sliding tube remains completely within the outer tube through the full range of movement.
