  • Patent number: 7441313
Abstract: A spring clamp has a clamping mouth (1) with two clamping jaws (2) which can be spring-loaded toward one another by the force of a spring. The clamping jaws (2) are formed by arms (3) which are connected to one another in an articulated manner at one end. The other ends of the arms (3) which form actuating sections (4) can be moved toward one another in order to open the clamping mouth (1). The two abutting clamping jaws (2) together with the articulation pin (5) of the arms (3) define a reference plane (E). An angle bisector (G) between the two actuating sections (4) is inclined at approximately 90° to the reference plane (E). A hook may be provided at the actuating section (4).

  • Patent number: 6945523
Abstract: The invention relates to a clamping tool com-prising a clamping jaw (5), which is releasably fixed on a rail, preferably at the end (2) thereof, and which comprises a pin (4) that passes through an opening of the rail. The clamping jaw is releasably fixed on the rail, whereby, after pulling the pin (4) out of the opening, the clamping jaw can be fixed at an opening (3) located at another position of the rail, preferably at its other end by reinserting the pin into an opening (3) located at that po-sition. A second clamping jaw (7) is displaceably arranged on said rail (1). A tightening element (8) is used to bring the second clamping jaw, according to the location of the first clamping jaw (5) on the rail (1), into a clamping position in the direction of the latter or in a direction away from the latter. The aim of the invention is to achieve a simplified changing from one fixing position to another fixing position on the rail.

  • Patent number: 6799756
Abstract: A suction-cup device has a cup-shaped support body having a cup opening and a hole. A suction diaphragm is positioned in the cup opening of the cup-shaped support body. A rod extends through the hole and is connected to the suction diaphragm. A clamp has first and second arms pivotally connected together at an articulation pin, the first and second arms each having a clamping jaw at one end and an actuating section at another end. The clamping jaws are biased toward each other. The clamp has a clamping member pivotally connected to the rod by a pivot pin which extends in a direction transverse to a direction of the articulation pin. The clamping member operatively contacts the cup-shaped support body and moves the rod and actuates the suction diaphragm when the clamping member is pivoted to a suction position. The clamping member moves the rod and releases the suction diaphragm when the clamping member is pivoted to a release suction position.

  • Publication number: 20040051011
Abstract: The invention relates to a support trestle comprising a base (1 to 5) and a support head (8) mounted thereon, whose height is adjustable, said support head having a support element that is configured as a roller (9) and is used to support workpieces. According to the invention, the support head (8) has at least one additional support element (10, 11) that can be used instead of the roller (9) and that can be brought into an operational position by pivoting the support head (8).

  • Patent number: 6648314
Abstract: A clamp has a first clamping jaw support (2) which can be displaced along a slide bar (1) and fixed thereon by applying a tilting moment. The clamping jaw support has a first clamping jaw (3), certain areas of which lie at a distance from the slide bar (1) and a second clamping jaw support (4) which is located and substantially fixed in the area of one end of the slide bar. The second clamping jaw support has a second clamping jaw (5) which is located opposite the first clamping jaw (3) and which is displaced towards the first clamping jaw (3) when the clamping jaw support is impinged upon by an eccentric pressure element (6), located at the end of the slide bar. The second clamping jaw support (4) can be pivoted about a shaft (13) which fixes it to the slide bar (1). The eccentric pressure element (6) acts upon a pressure shoulder (7) of the second clamping jaw support (4) which obliquely crosses the slide bar (1).

  • Patent number: 6578837
Abstract: A clamping tool having a first jaw connected to a pull/push rod and a fixed second jaw connected to a housing which includes a handle disposed opposite the second jaw and arranged along side a grip provided on the housing. Displacement of the handle towards the grip moves the first jaw towards the second jaw and towards a clamping position in a stepwise manner while reverse movement of the rod and jaws is blocked by a detent member. Release of the detent member is provided by a release lever. The release lever can also be utilized, in conjunction with the detent member, to move the rod and first jaw in a release direction. Movement of the rod and first jaw in the clamping direction is caused by engagement of the rod by a carry-along member. The carry-along member, in turn, is engaged by an operating arm which, in turn, is engaged by the handle. The operating arm is slidably connected to the housing thereby enabling the overall length of the operating arm and handle to be varied.

  • Publication number: 20020043296
Abstract: Router tables, generally used for woodworking, have fences used to guide workpieces during cutting. The router table has a table top which has a top work surface and a router bit hole through the table top. A plurality of support legs are provided below the table top. A safety shield is positioned above the router bit hole. The workpiece fence has left and right fences which operate independently of each other. The left and right fences slide on the top work surface in a front to rear direction and a side to side direction. A feather flap extends from the workpiece fence and holds the workpiece down against the table top during cutting. A miter guide is provided that has a slide guide for stabilizing the work piece. Also, a dovetail/boxjoint bar that can be slidably adjusted is provided. A variety of routers are accommodated by a number of hole patterns provided in the table top.
