Abstract: The invention concerns a clamp (1) for joining two connecting elements (2, 3) with abutting faces oriented transverse to a centre axis of the connecting elements. The clamp comprises a first and a second clamp element (4, 5) which are connected to each other by a pivot arrangement (6) and arranged for positioning around an area where the two connecting elements are to be joined. The clamp is provided with a locking device (9) to secure the connecting elements together when used, and the clamp is provided with an actuating device (10) which is arranged to actuate the locking device in between a locking position and a release position. The invention also concerns methods for releasing a clamp.

Abstract: A seal assembly (1) for a piping connection comprising; a first part (2) having at least one projecting rib (18) extending at least partially along an outer circumference thereof, and a second part (3) arranged to be attached to the first part, the second part being provided with at least one recess (16) on an inner surface thereof, which recess (16) is adapted to receive the projecting rib (18) when the first (2) and second (3) parts are connected, and the recess (16) has a larger cross-section area than the cross-section area occupied by the projecting rib (18) within the recess (16), such that when the first (2) and second (3) parts are connected, they are free to move relative to each other in at least one direction.

Abstract: A pipe coupling apparatus for coupling together first and second opposing pipe flanges includes a number of gripping elements which are connected to the second pipe flange and are engageable with the first pipe flange. A locking element is displaceably arranged on the second pipe flange to lock the gripping elements to the first pipe flange when the pipe flanges are coupled together, and an insulating element extends around the second pipe flange and is connected to the locking element. The apparatus includes an actuating tool for displacing the first insulating element and thus the locking element.

Abstract: The invention relates to a pipe coupling apparatus for coupling together two opposing pipe flanges (1, 2). The pipe coupling comprises one or more gripping elements (3) that are connected to a second pipe flange (2). The gripping elements (3) are provided for locking with a first pipe flange (1), and at least one locking element (4) that is displaceably arranged in the axial direction of the second pipe flange (2), for locking the gripping elements (3) to the first pipe flange (1) when the pipe flanges (1, 2) are coupled together. The locking element (4) is fixedly connected to at least one insulating element, preferably a first insulating element (6) which surrounds the pipe flange (2), and the apparatus comprises a tool (40) designed to displace the first insulating element (6), and thus the locking ring (4).

The clamping members each comprising an arcuate, radially inner portion which extends in the longitudinal direction of the clamping member and which in profile comprises a bottom portion and two lips which each extend radially inwardly from a corresponding side of the bottom portion. Each lip includes a main portion which extends circumferentially along the inner portion, and at least one lip of at least one clamping member comprises an arcuate circle sector portion which extends between the main portion and an end of the clamping member. In addition, the main portion comprises a lip radius and the circle sector portion comprises a circle sector radius that is larger than the lip radius.

Abstract: The invention concerns a tool for a tool for connecting an end of a first pipeline (22) to an end of a second pipeline (3) supported by a subsea structure (1) and being provided by at least two guide elements (11, 12). The tool comprising means for connecting the pipelines, and it comprises a receiving portion (32) provided to accommodate the end of the first pipeline in a slideable manner, and guiding means comprising at least two guiding sections (34, 35) extending from receiving portion (32). Each guiding section has an end arranged with an attachment portion (36, 37) interfacing with the guide elements (11, 12).

Abstract: The invention relates to a pipe clamp with two pipe clamp halves (2,4), for securing together hubbed end portions of two pipes or one pipe and pipe end cover, the pipe clamp halves being hinged at one end (5) and comprising a securing device at the other end. The pipe clamp is so configured that it does not need to be opened as wide as previously known similar pipe clamps.

At the same time, an alignment and stroking actuator (110) grips the collar above the axis of the stationary pipe. The moment arm and alignment actuator cooperate to raise the first pipe into a horizontal position so that it is aligned with the stationary pipe.
