Patents by Inventor Ko Inagaki

Ko Inagaki has filed for patents to protect the following inventions. This listing includes patent applications that are pending as well as patents that have already been granted by the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).

  • Publication number: 20050244290
Abstract: A linear motor of the present invention has: a stator having a stationary iron core and a magnet wire; a mover having a moving iron core and a magnet; and a plate-shaped elastic member for supporting the mover in a manner to rock in the rocking directions. This construction eliminates a sliding portion for supporting the mover so that it can reduce the loss, which might otherwise accompany the reciprocation of the mover. Moreover, a linear compressor using this linear motor is high in efficiency and reliability.

    Publication date: November 3, 2005
    Inventors: Ko Inagaki, Ichiro Morita
  • Patent number: 6946754
Abstract: A linear motor includes a stator including a stator core for forming plural magnetic poles and a magnetic wire mounted on the stator core, and a mover provided at the interior of the stator and including a mover core and a magnet mounted on the outer side of the mover core. The linear motor has the magnet have a reduced mass, thus having a small size, a low overall cost, and a high operating efficiency.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: January 21, 2003
Date of Patent: September 20, 2005
    Assignee: Matsushita Refrigeration Company
    Inventors: Ko Inagaki, Ichiro Morita
  • Patent number: 6879064
Abstract: A linear motor includes an outer yoke formed of a core made of thin magnetic plates laminated and a coil, an inner yoke formed of a core made of thin magnetic plates laminated and permanent magnets rigidly stuck on this laminated core, and an output shaft fixed to the inner yoke.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: July 28, 2003
Date of Patent: April 12, 2005
    Assignee: Matsushita Refrigeration Company

  • Publication number: 20040101413
Abstract: A control apparatus for a linear compressor driving system is disclosed for stabilizing the behavior of a piston and thereby protecting the increase in noise vibration caused by collision and the reduction in reliability. This control apparatus stabilizes the behavior of the piston by including: an unstableness detecting means, which directly or indirectly detects that the behavior of the piston is unstable and then outputs an unstableness detection signal; and an unstableness avoiding means which is operated in accordance with the unstableness detection signal.

  • Patent number: 6575716
Abstract: In a linear compressor having a compression mechanism for compressing and discharging a refrigerant, an inflammable refrigerant or a natural refrigerant such as propane, isobutane, carbon dioxide or the like is used as the refrigerant while no lubricating oil is filled up, thereby improving the system efficiency and reducing the amount of refrigerant.
