Publication number: 20060192772Abstract: A pen-like pointing device with data transfer capability is disclosed. The pen device functions as a pointing and writing device in a traditional manner. In addition, it has onboard memory and a wireless receiver, so that data and files can be transferred wirelessly from the computer to the pen device and, thereafter, transferred from the pen device to another device via a connector. The connector for transferring the data/files stored in the device memory may either be a wireless transmitter or a physical connector, such as a USB port. The pen-like pointing device may have a indicator, such as an LED, which alerts the user when data or files are stored in memory, and may also have a unique identifier and other security features. Using buttons on the pen device, a used can implement cut, copy and paste functions between a computer and another device, which may be a second computer.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 28, 2005Publication date: August 31, 2006Inventor: Ko Kambayashi

Patent number: 6992721Abstract: The present invention aims at providing a function-expansion unit for an electronic apparatus that may reduce the stress onto a connector, and provides a high stability with a CCD camera. The CCD camera includes a reinforcing member under its connecting portion and a height-adjustable stand, thereby reducing the stress that would otherwise apply to the USB connector as the connecting portion, enhancing the connection, preventing connector's deterioration in the course of time, and allowing the CCD camera to be stably placed.Type: GrantFiled: June 16, 2000Date of Patent: January 31, 2006Assignee: Fujitsu LimitedInventors: Ko Kambayashi, Takashi Hirasawa

Patent number: 6519139Abstract: A keyboard includes a plurality of keys, a palm rest portion and speakers. The speakers are encompassed by elastic members and are held by the elastic members in a region below the palm rest portion. The elastic members are cylindrical members mounted to the lower cover of the case, and the speakers are inserted into the elastic members in an upwardly facing position and emit sound upwards towards the output portions of the upper cover of the case. The upper cover deflects, when a user's hand is placed thereon, to be pressed onto the speaker to improve the output of the speaker.Type: GrantFiled: April 10, 2001Date of Patent: February 11, 2003Assignee: Fujitsu LimitedInventor: Ko Kambayashi
