    Abstract: A light source module including an exciting light source, a wavelength conversion module, and a light combining unit is provided. The exciting light source is capable of providing an exciting light beam. The wavelength conversion module includes at least one wavelength conversion reflecting portion and a wavelength conversion portion which cut into the transmission path of the exciting light beam alternately. When the wavelength conversion portion cuts into the transmission path of the exciting light beam, part of the exciting light beam which passes through the wavelength conversion portion is a first color light beam and another part of the exciting light beam is converted into a second color light beam by the wavelength conversion portion. The color of the second color light beam is different from that of the exciting light beam. A projection apparatus is also provided.

The first dichroic unit and the second dichroic unit are disposed on a transmission path of the excitation beam. The two wavelength conversion modules respectively convert the corresponding partial excitation beam coming from the first dichroic unit and the second dichroic unit into two converted beams. The light valve converts the first beam, the two converted beams, and the second beam coming from the third dichroic unit into an image beam. The first reflector is disposed on the transmission paths of the exciting beams, and disposed between the first light emitting elements and the wavelength-converting unit. The first reflector has a hole. The exciting beams from the first light emitting elements are reflected by the first reflector. The second reflector reflects the exciting beams, reflected by the first reflector, to the wavelength-converting unit. When the first portion beam irradiates the first wavelength conversion area, the first portion beam is converted into a first color beam. When the first portion beam irradiates the polarization conversion area, the first polarization direction of the first portion beam is converted to a second polarization direction. The polarization and color separation unit is disposed between the wavelength conversion device and the light-emitting device, and transmits the first portion beam with the first polarization direction, and reflects the first portion beam with the second polarization direction and the first color beam to the same direction.

The optical component is disposed nearby the second focal point so the different wavelength light beams pass through the second focal point and are transmitted to the optical component.
