    Abstract: Water sport headwear that is shaped to protect a wearer's head while also reducing the occurrence of water flowing into the wearer's eyes when emerging from water or after passing through a wave. The headwear includes a plurality of openings that permit water to exit through water and air headwear as the wearer emerges from water. The headwear provides openings and internal channels that encourage water to leave the helmet and reducing the occurrence of an outflow pathway of water from the helmet and toward or over either of the wearer's eyes.
