Abstract: A perforated structure mountable onto a seabed for establishing a deep-water port or an artificial island comprises: a plurality prefabricated perforated modules integratable into said structure; and at least one connector interconnecting corner portions of said prefabricated perforated modules. Each prefabricated perforated module has a corner portion comprising a concave surface such that said corner portions being integrated together into said structure form a cavity to be filled with a concrete. The connector comprises a crosspiece having three arms orthogonal to each other; each arm has a cross-like cross section. The crosspiece has reinforcing members at least partially mechanically connectable to said corner portions.

Abstract: An integrated deepwater offshore port includes at least one constructed platform, having a pier deck upper portion and an breakwater lower portion. The port sits in deep water as a structure independent of dry land or any structure thereon. The breakwater lower portion includes a plurality of prefabricated perforated modular marine structure units capable of interconnection. The prefabricated perforated modular marine structure units are anchored to a seabed by means of piles partially buried into the seabed and mechanically secured to the prefabricated perforated modular marine structure units.

Abstract: An amphibian artificial island (100) adapted for habitation of humans and aquatic flora and fauna. The island is integrally configured and comprises : (i) an underwater portion (20) sitting on a seabed adapted to enable sea water (free) flow; (ii) an above-water platform (30); and possibly, (iii) recreation and/or accommodation facilities (40). The unified bi-functional artificial island enables both humans and aquatic flora and fauna coexistence.

Abstract: A deep-water port is provided which comprises an upper pier deck, a natural deep-water mooring and an under-deck breakwater portion. The port is a mega-structure constructed of prefabricated modular perforated inter-connected marine structure units. The pier deck/breakwater combination is constructed in deep water, connected by bridge to the coast, independent of dry land or any structure thereon, as well as of any separate breakwater.
