  • Patent number: 11971156
Abstract: A combination light socket and cable clip removably attaches to a variety of surfaces on a structure and removably attaches a variety of light sources to the clip. The clip has a stabilizing plate which has a guiding flap formed at one end and a post formed at an opposite end. A flexible multi-clip structure extends from the post toward the stabilizing plate. The flexible multi-clip structure includes means for clamping the clip to a structure, means for removably attaching electrical wire to the clip, and means for removably attaching a lightbulb socket to the clip. The clip may be injection molded using biodegradable materials and is useful for hanging lights from roof gutters and shingles.

  • Patent number: 11944024
Abstract: A combination sod cutting and sprinkler cap removal tool includes a socket having a cavity and outer surface extending between proximal and distal ends, a cutting means disposed circumferentially about the distal end, an internal gear formed within the cavity, and a removable rotating means insertable into the cavity and configured to rotatably engage and be axially arrested by the internal gear whether the rotating means is inserted through the proximal end or the distal end. Interior gear teeth of the internal gear have both inner and outer engagement surfaces. When inserted through the proximal end, the rotating means engages the outer engagement surfaces to configure the distal end of the tool for cutting sod by rotation of the cutting means. When the rotating means engages the internal gear through the distal end, the proximal end of the tool is configured for removing a sprinkler cap by engaging the inner engagement surfaces with gripping surfaces of the cap.

  • Publication number: 20230249212
Abstract: A sprinkler riser extension kit elevates a pop-up sprinkler that has a riser and a head detachable from the riser. The kit includes a gripping head having a channel extending therethrough, and a riser extension configured to slide within the channel and having a length corresponding to the length of the channel. The lower end of the gripping head is configured for attachment to the sprinkler, e.g., by a plurality of flexible pawls spaced evenly about the lower end, or alternatively to an upper portion of an identical gripping head. The riser extension includes means for attachment between the sprinkler head and the sprinkler riser. To elevate the sprinkler, the head is detached, the riser passed through the gripping head, the riser extension attached to the riser, the head attached to the riser extension, and the gripping head attached to the top of the sprinkler. Gripping heads and riser extensions are stackable atop one another, to enable elevation of the sprinkler head in multiple stages.

  • Publication number: 20230191438
Abstract: A sprinkler riser extension kit for elevating a sprinkler head and maintaining a fixed constant pressure at an outlet end in an existing pop-up sprinkler is disclosed. The extension kit comprises a gripping head having a channel defined therethrough and a riser stem extension enclosing a pressure regulator assembly, the extension stem being slidable through the channel of the gripping head. The gripping head engages a cap of an existing sprinkler and the extension stem engages the sprinkler riser of the existing sprinkler. The pressure regulator assembly defines an internal hollow channel. A valve assembly is integrally connected to a spring circumvolving the channel. The spring exerts a constant downward force on the valve assembly. When under pressure, the valve assembly exerts an opposing force against the spring and the two forces cooperate to maintain a constant pressurized release of fluid at the outlet.

  • Patent number: 11332965
Abstract: A locking bracket assembly prevents unauthorized opening of an irrigation timer box of the type having a cam lock mounted to a hinged cover. The locking bracket assembly includes a lower mounting bracket, locking hardware for attaching the lower mounting bracket to an outer surface of the timer box, and a vertical extension bracket for vertically adjustable attachment to the lower mounting bracket. An upper length of the vertical extension bracket extends at an acute angle from a lower length that is configured for parallel alignment with both the lower mounting bracket and a sidewall of the timer box. When the cover of the timer box is closed, the acute angle allows the upper length of the vertical extension bracket to pass into the timer box and emerge through a slot cut in the cover, and the cam lock can then be rotated to engage a slot formed in part of the upper length of the vertical extension bracket that remains within the timer box.
