  • Publication number: 20250105550
Abstract: A frame unit that interfaces a chicklet and a printed circuit board includes at least one fixing member that fixes the frame unit to a PCB, and an opening that accepts and holds a chicklet therein. The frame unit accepts a chicklet such that electrical connections are formed between the chicklet and the PCB beneath the frame unit. The edge of the opening can flex and/or make conductive electrical contact with the chicklet, and fixing member(s) can make electrical contact to the PCB. A frame strip is also described, which may include multiple frame units which can be separated from the frame strip. Frame units and frame strips can facilitate chicklet placement within strict tolerances.

  • Publication number: 20240339793
Abstract: The invention relates to a contact module for transmission of high-frequency signals, wherein the contact module comprises at least one electrically conductive contact element adapted for transmitting the high-frequency signals, a dielectric insulator at least sectionally surrounding the at least one contact element and an electrically conductive shielding housing at least sectionally surrounding the dielectric insulator with the at least one contact element inside, wherein the shielding housing is monolithically folded around the dielectric insulator. The invention further relates to a set comprising two such contact modules. The invention further concerns an electrical connector comprising at least one contact module and a connector housing. The contact module has an improved shielding performance, a simplified assembly and reduced number of components.

  • Patent number: 11843131
Abstract: An electrical device including a conductor cable having an electrical conductor embedded in an insulation sheath of the conductor cable in a contact plane. The electrical conductor is stripped of the insulation sheath in a predetermined contact section at least on one contact side, the contact section of the conductor is bent out with the contact side from the contact plane to beyond the insulation sheath. The device further includes an electrical connection counterpart. The contact side of the contact section of the conductor rests on the electrical connection counterpart and is connected directly to the electrical connection counterpart to form an electrical contact.
