  • Patent number: 11595771
Abstract: Embodiments herein enable fast and easy interconnectivity among multimedia accessories including mobile devices and other devices. There is only limited space on mobile devices yet there are numerous input connectors. The standard TRRS audio jack is one such input that has and remains common, primarily because it is the accepted standard for audio input; namely, headphones and earpieces for listening purposes. Embodiments herein describe an intelligent switch to that audio jack that permits for additional backward and forward compatibility. It transparently allows a user to insert analog or digital audio devices, such as earphones, without the need to manually reconfigure device settings. The device herein automatically converts between input connector types using the same input convention present on their existing mobile devices. Other embodiments are disclosed.

  • Patent number: 11534613
Abstract: Inductive wireless power transfer systems are provided for medical devices, such as implantable medical devices (IMDs). The systems may comprise a transmitter unit and a receiver unit and may be configured for transferring power and/or signals from the transmitter unit to the receiver unit and/or vice versa. The transmitter unit may comprise an energy source, a transmitter antenna, and a supply line connected in between the energy source and the antenna. The receiver unit may comprise a receiver antenna and a rectifier output. The transmitter antenna and the receiver antenna may be configured to provide a wireless power transfer link. The supply line may comprise a virtual resistance unit, which may be configured to provide a virtual resistance, which may be determined such that the rectifier output provides a substantially constant or less varying charge current over a predetermined distance range, for a large range of implant depths.

  • Publication number: 20070055324
Abstract: The invention is directed to an externally applied coordinator for communication and/or control of 2 or more implantable medical devices that may utilize different telemetry communication techniques. The coordinator receives telemetry signals from 2 or more implantable medical devices and provides functional direction to each of the devices to provide coordinated therapy and/or diagnostic function. The coordinator automatically configures itself for communication with a given medical device based either on the telemetry signal it receives or programmed by the physician. Specifically the coordinator is implemented as a software based, power efficient receiver/transmitter based upon an inexpensive, simple motor-controller DSP.
