Abstract: The present invention relates to a novel zinc polyphosphate, use thereof, and a production method therefor. The present invention relates more specifically to a zinc polyphosphate characterized by showing a halo peak at 2?=4 to 7° in X-ray diffraction, a pharmaceutical composition containing the zinc polyphosphate as an active ingredient, and a method for producing a zinc polyphosphate, the method comprising the steps of: (1) adding a zinc ion to a polyphosphate solution under an alkaline condition at preferably pH 8 to 11; and (2) recovering a solid obtained in the step (1) as a zinc polyphosphate.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition for treating or preventing inflammatory bowel disease comprising zinc polyphosphate as an active ingredient.
