  • Publication number: 20230339367
Abstract: A vehicle seat includes a seat cushion and a seatback. The vehicle seat has a plate-shaped pressure-receiving member configured to receive a load from an occupant seated on the vehicle seat and a radio wave sensor fixed to the pressure-receiving member. The radio wave sensor is configured to acquire information about the occupant by emitting radio waves toward the occupant and detecting the radio waves reflected off the occupant. The pressure-receiving member includes a plurality of first ribs that protrudes from a backside of the pressure-receiving member, which is a side facing away from the occupant, in a direction away from the occupant, and a plurality of second ribs that protrudes from the backside in a direction away from the occupant, the plurality of second ribs crossing the plurality of first ribs. The radio wave sensor includes at least one fixing part that is fixed to the pressure-receiving member.

  • Publication number: 20230105172
Abstract: A biological sensor is provided with at least two sensors for detecting vibrations, and is configured so that the at least two sensors form layers. One of the at least two sensors is a first sensor used to acquire biological information, and one is a second sensor used to remove noise. A first cushion material for reducing vibrations is disposed between the first sensor and the second sensor. The first cushion material is integrally laminated with the first sensor and the second sensor. This facilitates accurate detection of biological information.

  • Patent number: 8428853
Abstract: A malfunction diagnostic apparatus for intake air temperature sensors includes a coolant temperature sensor; a first determination portion that determines that a precondition for performing a malfunction diagnosis is satisfied when a process of starting an engine is started, if a detected coolant temperature is determined to be equal to an intake air temperature detected by an intake air temperature sensor provided at a portion that is likely to be cooled, and a decrease amount, by which the detected coolant temperature decreases, is equal to or larger than a preset value; a second determination portion that makes a tentative determination based on a difference between the detected intake air temperatures, if the precondition is satisfied; and a third determination portion that determines whether the tentative determination is an invalid determination or a valid determination, based on a change in the detected intake air temperatures during a given time period.
