  • Publication number: 20230278143
Abstract: A laser machining tool that performs laser machining on a plate-shaped workpiece includes a table including protrusions and supporting the workpiece on upper ends of the protrusions, a laser head to perform boring machining by irradiating a laser beam along an outline of a hole to be formed in the workpiece on the table, a transporter to transport the workpiece that has undergone laser machining, and a rod-shaped tool to force out slag remaining in the hole. The workpiece is transported by the transporter until the hole is at a processing position including a discharge space for the slag, outside and below the table as seen in a plan view, and the slag remaining in the hole is forced out by the rod-shaped tool, at the processing position.

  • Patent number: 9381559
Abstract: A punch includes first and second blade sections juxtaposed relative to each other in a direction parallel or substantially parallel to a feed direction of a sheet material. The first blade section protrudes downwardly from the second blade section with a step intervening therebetween and includes lower end edges on downstream and upstream sides of the feed direction, which define respective punching edges. The first blade section includes a lower end edge following the feed direction, which defines a first notching and punching edge. The notching and punching edge includes a portion intermediate of the feed direction representing a projecting shape. The second blade section includes a lower end edge on the upstream side, which defines a punching edge and also includes a lower end edge following the feed direction, which defines a notching and punching edge. The notching and punching edge is inclined gradually upwardly towards the upstream side.

  • Patent number: 8863626
Abstract: A nibbler assembly includes a punch and a die. The die includes a through opening formed therein, which opening has an oblong configuration as viewed along a vertical direction. The die includes an upper surface including a recess extending from an upper peripheral portion of the through opening at an upstream side of a feed direction towards the upstream of the feed direction. The recess is dented downwardly relative to other portions of the upper surface. The punch includes a blade substantially matching in shape with the through opening. The blade includes an upstream end portion in the feed direction provided with opposite corners each having an arcuate shape as viewed along the vertical direction. The punch and the die are operable to punch successive holes that at least partially overlap along the feed direction so as to form an elongated hole in a sheet material.
