  • Patent number: 5341039
Abstract: A semiconductor integrated circuit device operated under a clock signal having a high frequency exceeding 100 MHz is disclosed. In a wiring path, impedance of wiring is changed discontinuously due to a contact hole or decrease in wiring width and the like to cause mismatching. In order to make matching in such a mismatching portion, matching resistance having a value twice as large as characteristic impedance of wiring is provided. Reflection of transmitted signals at discontinuous portions of impedance can be prevented because of the matching resistance. Therefore, malfunction in a CMOS circuit of destination is prevented.
