Abstract: Scanned sheet processing is modified based on control sheets that are also scanned. The following is performed for each sheet of a number of sheets. The sheet is scanned, and whether the sheet is a control sheet is determined. Where the sheet is a control sheet, one or more of current settings governing processing of subsequently scanned sheets are modified based on the control sheet. For example, the current settings may be saved for later retrieval and the current settings modified. As another example, the current settings are to be reverted back to the saved settings previously saved. As two more examples, subsequently scanned sheets may be indicated as to be printed or faxed. Where the sheet is not a control sheet, the sheet is processed in accordance with the current settings. Such processing can include printing and faxing, among other types of actions.
