  • Patent number: 10098188
Abstract: An induction heating cooker is provided that has a plurality of heating coils arranged under a top plate, that has power consumption, heat generation, and unnecessary radiation suppressed at the time of detection of a load, and that requires a short time for detection of a load. In the induction heating cooker of this disclosure, two or more heating coils are at the same time selected depending on a position of an area operated on the operation section. The operation detecting section performs the load detection only for the heating coils selected by an operation on the operation section. By using such a configuration, a user can select heating coils to be used out of a plurality of heating coils in advance. A load detection operation is not performed for heating coils other than the selected heating coils.

  • Publication number: 20170142782
Abstract: In a heating cooker, multiple IH coils (3) are provided under a top plate, so as to heat an object to be heated by induction heating. Operation display unit (7) is configured with touch panel (5) to display information prompting an operation via touch panel (5) and receive an input of the operation via touch panel (5). Control unit (202) controls operation display unit (7) and drive unit (203), according to an operation input to operation display unit (7). Control unit (202) also sets a selection region on touch panel (5) and a heating region on the top plate, according to a drag operation on touch panel (5). Operation display unit (7) displays a selection region. Drive unit (203) drives one or more IH coils (3) corresponding to the heating region. This configuration enables to offer an inexpensive heating cooker with higher flexibility in the placement position of the object to be heated, without compromising its operability.

  • Publication number: 20150068408
Abstract: In a cooker according to the present invention, in order to prevent a heating capacity from being raised rapidly against the intention of a user, when a contactant which contacts an operating area of a display operating portion flicks the display operating portion, if a detected operation of the contactant such as flicking is in the direction to raise a heating capacity, a changing amount (a varying amount) of a heating capacity according to a moving speed of the contactant in the operating area is limited in comparison with the case that a detected operation of the contactant such as flicking is in the direction to lower a heating capacity.
