  • Publication number: 20240038108
Abstract: It is an object of the present technology to provide an image display apparatus, an image display method, and a program that make it possible to provide a high-quality viewing experience. In order to achieve the object described above, an image display apparatus according to an embodiment of the present technology includes a screen and a display section. The screen is a cylindrical screen that extends in parallel with a specified axis. The display section causes a surface image and a primary-display image to overlap, the surface image being displayed on a substantial entirety of a surface of the screen, the primary-display image being displayed to look as if the primary-display image were situated in an internal space of the screen. This makes it possible to provide a high-quality viewing experience.

  • Patent number: 11310426
Abstract: The present technology relates to a control device, a controlling method, and an imaging apparatus that make it possible to reduce a weight of a movable body while simplifying a structure and to improve control accuracy. A moving body that moves in two or more directions, and a controller that controls movement of the moving body are provided. The controller sets a control value directed to controlling of the movement of the moving body on the basis of an initial position of the moving body and an instructed position of the moving body. A parameter directed to setting of the control value is set on the basis of the initial position and the instructed position. The present technology is applicable, for example, to a shake correction device that corrects a hand shake of an imaging apparatus or a technique that achieves super-resolution by shifting a sensor to capturing a plurality of images.

  • Patent number: 7804505
Abstract: A cache control unit of a video data playback control apparatus sets priority video data in order to efficiently use a storage area of a cache memory. The priority video data includes video data which includes a greater number of portions of video data than that of data displayed in a display unit, which includes a smaller number of portions of video data than a maximum number that can be held in the cache memory, and which has a high possibility of being output from the cache memory to the display unit. Also, the cache control unit preferentially reads the priority video data from a recording medium and stores it in the cache memory.
