Abstract: A workpiece holding device includes a workpiece support surface and a blow suction unit. The workpiece support surface includes suction holes formed therein. A workpiece placed on the workpiece support surface is adsorbed by the suction holes. The blow suction unit includes an ionizer that ionizes gas (for example, air), a jet outlet that jets the gas toward the workpiece and a suction inlet. The gas blown onto and reflected off the workpiece is suctioned through the suction inlet. • Patent number: 8230734
Abstract: A leaf spring load measuring device of the present invention comprises a weighing mechanism, a measuring mechanism, a metering mechanism, and a control mechanism. The weighing mechanism applies a load heavier than a working load to a leaf spring, thereby bending the leaf spring in its thickness direction, and maintains the resulting state for a predetermined hold time. The measuring mechanism measures a load value of the leaf spring in a manner such that the spring is subjected to a load within a range of the working load. The metering mechanism meters a displacement of the spring when the load value is measured. The control mechanism controls the weighing mechanism, the metering mechanism, and the measuring mechanism, and has a timer function to meter the hold time.

  • Patent number: 6604848
Abstract: In the case of thickening a feed resin without pre-drying, a device is taught to enhance the thickening effect. The device includes a chamber 4 having a mixing rotor therein for continuously mixing a resin between a feed port 2 and a discharge port 3. A plurality of vent ports 7 connected to vacuum pumps 8, 9 are provided for reducing the pressure in the chamber. An element, e.g. a screw feeder 10, is provided for introducing a viscosity-increasing chemical agent into the chamber. The screw feeder is isolated from the reduced pressure areas of the chamber by elements 35, e.g. reverse screw flights of the rotor. In operation, feed resin from a hopper 6 enters the chamber through port 2 and is dehydrated while being continuously mixed in a drying section 14 via vents 7. After addition of the chemical agent, the resin is continuously mixed in a thickening section 15 while being deaerated.

  • Patent number: 6409949
Abstract: A polyester resin is thickened in a chamber 4 by first introducing the feed resin through a port 2 and dehydrating in a drying section 14 under reduced pressure. A chemical agent is then added to the dehydrated feed resin and mixed therewith in a thickening section 15. The mixing occurs while deaerating under reduced pressure. The chemical agent functions to either increase the viscosity of the feed resin or suppress the lowering thereof.

  • Patent number: 5282136
Abstract: For use where a hanging load 81 is vertically hung and released with a crane having either a jib or a boom which can be raised or lowered, or where a long hanging load 81 is raised from its lowered state to its vertical state so as to be hung-up and released a control device of the has a control section for performing automatically the raising of the jib 60 or boom 61 and the winding-up or -down of the winding-up rope 70, in cooperation with each other in response to their initial states. In case that the initial angle of the jib or boom is large or small, it is controlled in such a way as a rate of variation of the hanging load .DELTA.T applied to the winding-up rope 70 becomes constant. It positions the extreme end of the jib or boom on the vertical line passing through a center of gravity of the hanging load. With such a control device, the handing load is not oscillated and a smooth vertical releasing is carried out.

  • Patent number: 5159813
Abstract: A slewing control device for a hydraulic slewing crane adapted to supply a discharge oil from a hydraulic pump through a slewing control valve to a slewing motor and control a rotational direction and a rotational speed of the slewing motor. The slewing control device includes a brake pressure control valve for variably controlling a discharge pressure of the slewing motor, an acceleration pressure control valve for variably controlling a suction pressure of the slewing motor, and a controller for outputting to both pressure control valves a pressure control signal to be determined according to an operational condition of the crane upon braking of a slewing body and controlling both the discharge pressure and the suction pressure of the slewing motor to control a pressure differential therebetween. Accordingly, even when a braking torque is small, the slewing body can be smoothly braked to be stopped at a target position accurately with no oscillation of a suspended load remaining.
