  • Publication number: 20030214635
Abstract: In a liquid crystal projector device, a first polarization beam splitter 22 separates an entering green light into first and second green lights perpendicular to each other, and a first liquid crystal element 23 modulates the first green light via a second polarization beam splitter 24. Also, in the device of the present invention, while a first half-wave plate 25 revolves 90 degree a polarized plane of the second light separated by the first polarization beam splitter 22, a second liquid crystal element 26 modulates the second green light via a third polarization beam splitter 27, a second half-wave plate 28 revolves 90 degree a polarized plane of the second light transmitted through the third polarization beam splitter 27, and a fourth polarization beam splitter 29 transmits the first green light transmitted through the second polarization beam splitter 24 and reflects the second green light form the second half-wave plate 28.

  • Publication number: 20030127624
Abstract: A heating medium composition for suppressing deterioration of both a metal piping and a synthetic resin piping. The heating medium composition contains an antifreeze ingredient, water, a corrosion inhibitor, and a surfactant. The corrosion inhibitor includes a triazole compound, and the surfactant includes an anionic surfactant. A bag in a feeder provided in a given position along a circulation piping is filled with an oxidation inhibitor. By flowing a heating medium composition through the feeder, the oxidation inhibitor is gradually dissolved in the heating medium composition.

  • Patent number: 4757701
Abstract: A six stage rolling machine for forming endless metal belts from tubular workpieces comprises, a first roll disposed within the workpiece, a second roll disposed outside the workpiece and constitutes, in cooperation with the first roll, a pair of work rolls for effecting one position rolling of the tube into a belt. The first roll is provided with a pair of back-up drive rolls capable of being contacted with the first roll under pressure to play a role as backing up and driving rolls, similarly, the second roll is also provided with a pair of rolls capable of being contacted with the second roll under pressure to play a roll as backing up and driving rolls, that is, the rolling machine comprises a pair of work rolls and four back-up rolls, that is, six rolls in total.

  • Patent number: 4044447
Abstract: A number of wires are gathered together and bound with an armoring material in the shape of a band. The wires in this condition are drawn by means of a wire drawing apparatus having dies and a capstan. A plurality of bundles of such wires are gathered together and bound in the same way as in the foregoing to form a composite bundle body, which is further drawn, and these processes are repeated until at least filaments of a specified diameter are obtained in quantities.
