    Abstract: An evaporated fuel purge system has a fuel tank, an adsorption filter and a purge control valve. The evaporated fuel purge system is pressurized and depressurized through a venting flow path by a pump, so that the state of leakage therefrom is thereby inspected. For this inspection, a motor unit for driving the pump which applies or reduces pressure, an in-vehicle battery and a voltage control circuit which controls a battery voltage to a predetermined voltage and supplies the motor unit with a current are provided. The voltage control circuit is located in a pump chamber which forms a part of air outlet passage.

    Abstract: A pump generates a gas flow within a measurement passage having an orifice. A differential pressure sensor detects a pressure difference between both ends of the orifice. Switching valves are disposed in the measurement passage to create a first concentration measurement state in which the measurement passage is opened at both ends thereof and the gas flowing through the measurement passage is the atmosphere, and a second concentration measurement state in which the measurement passage is in communication at both ends thereof with a canister and the gas flowing through the measurement passage is a fuel vapor-containing air-fuel mixture provided from the canister. An ECU calculates a fuel vapor concentration by based on a pressure difference detected in the first concentration measurement state and a pressure difference detected in the second concentration measurement state.

    Abstract: A rotor includes a plurality of vanes and is connected to a rotatable shaft of a motor arrangement. A casing includes a pump chamber and elongated holes. The pump chamber receives the rotor in such a manner that the rotor is eccentric to the pump chamber. Each elongated hole penetrates through the casing and has an elongated cross section. A major axis of the elongated cross section of each elongated hole extends in a direction of eccentricity of the rotor relative to the pump chamber. Each bolt is received through a corresponding elongated hole of the casing and is threadably engaged with a mount to connect the casing to the mount. The casing holds each bolt in a minor axial direction of the elongated cross section of the corresponding elongated hole to limit substantial movement of the male threaded screw member in the minor axial direction of the elongated hole.

The casing includes a pump chamber, receiving through holes and second end side recesses. The pump chamber receives the rotor. The receiving through holes penetrate through the casing. The second end side recesses are recessed in the second end surface of the casing. The second end side recesses are spaced away from the receiving through holes. Each bolt is received through a corresponding one of the receiving through holes of the casing, and each bolt is threadably engaged with the mount to connect the casing to the mount.

    Abstract: A vacuum switch tube comprises a stationary electrode and a movable electrode, each of which includes a main electrode and an auxiliary electrode. The main and auxiliary electrodes of each of the stationary and movable electrodes are formed of an alloy of a conductive metal and fire-resisting metal, with the ratio by volume of the conductive metal to the fire-resisting metal in the main electrode being lower than the ratio by volume of the conductive metal to the fire-resisting metal in the auxiliary electrode. These ratios cause the main electrodes to have a low welding power, with the result that, at the time of breaking a large current, an arc is rapidly moved. A small-size vacuum switch tube is thus provided in which the main electrodes require a small tripping force against welding therebetween and which is capable of breaking a large current and withstanding a high voltage.

Marked enhancement and stabilization of the vacuum switch tube performance in breaking a large current, as well as enabling a smaller construction, are thereby realized.
