  • Publication number: 20030226505
Abstract: The disclosure relates to a vaporizer valve which accepts a carrier gas and a pressurized liquid and forms a mixture of the carrier gas and vaporized liquid. An internal cavity receives the carrier gas through a carrier aperture and the liquid through a liquid aperture, and the mixed gas and vapor are exhausted out of the cavity via a third aperture. A moveable diaphragm disposed adjacent to the liquid aperture forms a vaporization region having a pressure gradient. The liquid passing through this pressure gradient vaporizes due to expansion. By controlling the diaphragm position with a feedback control circuit responsive to a liquid flow rate monitor, the liquid flow rate may be controlled independently of the carrier gas flow rate.

  • Patent number: 5580432
Abstract: Disclosed is a method of producing an integrated circuit package, wherein portions of the package are electroplated by getting a direct electrical connection with each of lead pins joined to a package substrate. The electrical connection is obtained by force-fitting each of the lead pins in corresponding one of openings formed in a plating jig made of an electrically conductive material for thereby bringing a side surface of each of the lead pins in contact with the jig. The portions of the package are electroplated under the condition where each of the lead pins is held in conduction. After the electroplating, each of the lead pins is separated from the jig through movement in the direction differing from an axial direction of each of the lead pins. Various jigs used for carrying out the above method are also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 5560253
Abstract: A shift lever assembly for a manual transmission is disclosed. A boss of a shifting lever is supported for rotation by a shift shaft on a lever retainer. A boss of a selecting lever is supported for rotation by a support shaft parallel to the shift shaft on the lever retainer. A boss of a shift lever is supported for selecting operation about a select shaft at right angles to the shift shaft on the shifting lever. Shifting operation of the shift lever is transmitted via a select arm and an end ball portion thereof to an engagement portion of the selecting lever to cause rotation of the selecting lever about the axis of the support shaft. The shift lever is formed integrally with its boss, the select arm and the ball portion.
