  • Patent number: 6381299
Abstract: Between an X-ray generating system and an X-ray image detecting system arranged opposite to the X-ray generating system, an examination object supporting system is arranged and contains a straight movement table provided on a rotary table supported by a rotary table supporting member, and an examination object supporting member for supporting the examination object under either a standing position or a sitting position on the straight movement table. While the examination object is rotated by the rotary table, the examination object is continuously moved (reciprocating movement) by the straight movement table along a direction parallel to the rotation plane, and X-ray images of the examination object are acquired along a plurality of directions during both the rotating operation and the moving operation. As a result, both an X-ray tomographic image and a three-dimensional image (stereoscopic image) of a wider area than a viewing field of an X-ray I.I. can be acquired.

  • Patent number: 5880470
Abstract: A 2-dimensional radiation image detector wherein a plurality of conversion elements for converting a radiation into visible light and a plurality of photo-sensitive elements for detecting the visible light and accumulating signals are formed an elements board includes two elements boards arranged in an overlapping relationship with each other and each having the plurality of photo-sensitive elements arranged two-dimensionally thereon such that the distance between centers of the photo-sensitive elements in one direction of the arrangement is substantially equal to a width of the photo-sensitive elements while the distance between the centers of the photo-sensitive elements in a direction perpendicular to the one direction is substantially equal to twice the width of the photo-sensitive elements and such that that portion of a radiation directed upon the two overlapping elements boards which has passed through a first one of the elements boards other than locations of the photo-sensitive elements is detected b

  • Patent number: 5490193
Abstract: This invention provides a compact X-ray CT system capable of obtaining an X-ray CT image having high resolution at a high speed by deflecting a predetermined electron beam and causing the finely focused electron beam to scan on an arcuate anode target inside the same plane as the arcuate anode target for an X-ray source. The anode target for an X-ray source and a detector are disposed in the form of arcs inside substantially the same plane so as to face each other. The electron beam emitted from an electron gun is guided to a deflector through a lens system, is then deflected to a arc form trajectory by a uniform magnetic field generated by the deflector and is guided to the anode target after a reverse magnetic field is applied to the electron beam at a desired position. This electron beam is caused to scan on the anode target at a high speed so as to move the generation position of the X-ray and thus to obtain a sectional image.

  • Patent number: 5276328
Abstract: A multi-elements radiation detector provides isolation plates each having a uniform light reflectance on the surface, excellent reproducibility and uniform performance for enhancing an X-ray spatial efficiency and a light transmission efficiency and is intended to improve a detection efficiency and an S/N of a reconstructed image so that the detector may be used for a digital X-ray imaging system, in particular, an X-ray computed tomography system. In the multi-elements radiation detector, each isolation plate isolating the adjacent elements from each other includes a thin plate made of Mo. On the surfaces of the thin plate, there are provided organopolysiloxane membranes obtained by hydrolyzing and condensing organosilicate such as CH.sub.3 Si(OCH.sub.3).sub.3 so that those surfaces are formed to be specular-reflective. On the films, there are formed reflective multi optical thin films composed of a combination of Al, MgF.sub.2 and TiO.sub.3.

  • Patent number: 5177775
Abstract: A real-time digital radiography system operates to introduce a X-ray image on a real-time basis and process the image for clinical diagnosis. The system provides for additional inputs, for example, clinical information material, which are also subject to digital image conversion. The system is designed to connect several TV cameras to an A/D converter which digitally converts the produced image to digital information, with one of the TV cameras for imaging the output image of an X-ray image intensifier, and the output of the one TV camera is selectively connected to the A/D converter. The output image of the X-ray image intensifier and other output images produced by separate TV cameras are connected to the A/D converter through a switching apparatus, and subsequently the digital output is processed.
