  • Patent number: 6007757
Abstract: Compression molding suitable anisotropic magnet powder had not been established facing the difficulty of contradiction of high density and magnet powder alignment. By applying both magnetic field and pressure at the moment when the resin is melted into liquid state by heating, both high density and a high degree of magnet powder alignment are attained. Furthermore, application of degassing and ultrasonic vibration were found to be effective. An anisotropic bonded magnet with the maximum energy of more than 20 MGOe, in other words, more than 80% of the theoretical value of maximum energy product, is obtained.

  • Patent number: 5886070
Abstract: The present invention offers a production method for anisotropic resin-bonded magnets with precise dimensions in high productivity. It comprises the aligning step in which the preform is preliminary compression-molded in the preforming molding die 22 in the preforming press 20 with an applied magnetic field to align the magnetization direction of the magnet powder at a temperature in which the thermosetting resin in the compound becomes liquid state, the transferring step in which said preform is transferred from preforming press 20 to densifying molding die 32 in a densifying press 30, and densifying step in which said partly cured preform is compression-molded by applying pressure in a densifying press 30 to obtain desired shape of magnet.

  • Patent number: 5403988
Abstract: A stud welding apparatus has a welding jig, guide frames and a cartesian coordinate type robot. This robot has a travelling frame, a robot main body, an elevating arm and a stud welding gun. Power supply passages are provided on the travelling frame, the robot main body and the elevating arm, respectively, such that electric power can be supplied from a welding power source to the stud welding gun via these power supply passages. The power supply passage provided on the travelling frame is formed in a first power supply bar which is fixed to the travelling frame and is elongated in a horizontal direction. A pressure type first power supply joint is provided on the robot main body and urges a contact member to be connected to the power supply passage provided on the robot main body into contact and away from the first power supply bar by means of a cylinder.

  • Patent number: 5316572
Abstract: Concrete for placement in air featured by the quantity of mixing water of not more than 175 kg/m.sup.3, the content of hydraulic component materials of 400-700 kg/m.sup.3, nonuse of anti-foaming agent, the addition of a water-soluble polymer substance in an amount such as will give a viscosity in a range of 5 to 2,000 centipoises when dissolved in 1,000 g of water of 20.degree. C., and further, the addition of a high-range air-entraining, water-reducing agent in 0.1 to 2% by dry weight of the hydraulic component materials. This method of manufacturing concrete for placement in air has the effects of extremely little segregation, high deformability, and no necessity for consolidation.
