  • Publication number: 20060257125
Abstract: A motor drive circuit is provided and includes: a PWM wave generation circuit for generating a PWM (pulse-width-modulated) wave having a high frequency, whose pulse width has been modulated, in response to a rotational frequency control signal used for driving a motor; a switching element (FET) that receives an input of a PWM wave output from the PWM wave generation circuit and performs switching operation; and a current resonance circuit including an inductance and a capacitor. Current resonance is induced in response to power of a battery cell imparted by means of operation of the switching element. A value falling within the range of 60 to 90 KHz, which is 1.1 to 1.7 times as large as a switching frequency 54 KHz of the switching element, may be selected and set for the resonance frequency.

  • Publication number: 20060248736
Abstract: A telescopic system is provided and has a digital compass and a gimbal mechanism. The gimbal mechanism is formed of first and second gimbal suspension members and a base table side supporting member. The digital compass is held placed on the gimbal mechanism. The first gimbal suspension member has two crossing arm portions and is suspended on the base table side supporting member rotatably on the first rotary shafts. The second gimbal suspension member is suspended on the first gimbal suspension member rotatably on the second rotary shafts. In this arrangement, the digital compass can be always kept horizontal even when the gimbal mechanism is tilted.

  • Publication number: 20060164724
Abstract: A telescopic system with a display in a visual field is provided. In the telescopic system, a microcomputer is mounted on the circuit board of a display device and is configured so that the short-time pressing of an ENT key is detected. When the short-time pressing of the ENT key is detected, the orientation data on a liquid crystal display unit is set into a fixed display state in which the orientation data is fixed to the orientation data obtained at the time. At the same time, the display state of the liquid crystal display unit is switched to a blinking state or a state in which the color of the backlight unit is switched to a lighting color different from the lighting color in a real-time display state in which the orientation data being changed is displayed directly, by the microcomputer via a lighting drive circuit, whereby the distinction between the fixed display and the real-time display can be performed easily.

  • Patent number: 7018494
Abstract: A method of producing a composite sheet in which a through hole formed in a predetermined portion of the first ceramic sheet is buried with a different kind of sheet having substantially the same thickness as the first ceramic sheet, such as a resin sheet a metal sheet or a ceramic sheet of a material different from that of the first ceramic sheet. A first method comprises a step of preparing a first ceramic sheet from a ceramic powder, and a different kind of sheet; a step of forming a through hole in a predetermined portion of the first ceramic sheet; a step of laminating the different kind of sheet on the ceramic sheet in which the through hole is formed; and a step of preparing a composite sheet by pressing the portion of the first ceramic sheet where the through hole is formed from the side of the different kind of sheet, such that the first ceramic sheet and the different kind of sheet are integrated together.

  • Patent number: 6992070
Abstract: The present provides methods and compositions that enable effective delivery of nucleic acids to desired cells, including to a solid organ such as a mammalian heart. The methods and compositions enable effective gene transfer and subsequent expression to a majority of cells throughout a solid organ such as the heart. Methods and compositions of the invention preferably provide enhanced vascular permeability that enables increased gene transfer to targeted cells, but without significant degradation or injury to endothelial cell layers.

  • Patent number: 6862084
Abstract: In the laser range finder, a sending portion that emits laser light to a target and a receiving portion that receives the laser light reflected by the target are supported on a gimbals together with erecting prisms of a binocular optical system, and their attitudes are controlled so as to be secured to an inertial system. This eliminates influence of a shake, and allows accurate aiming at a faraway target and measurement of a distance thereto with high accuracy.

  • Publication number: 20040190076
Abstract: It is intended to provide a facsimile device and a program product for facsimile printing capable of surely making a user know receipt of an irregular e-mail such as an error mail or the like, without requiring extra volume of memory, while preventing waste of paper. When an e-mail is received, there is detected whether a printing mode is set or a not-printing mode is set for a body part of an e-mail in #2. Even though a not-printing mode is set for a body part of an e-mail (#2: No), the body part is printed in #8 in case the e-mail is not accompanied by an attached file of predetermined format (#5: No). Therefore, even if a not-printing mode is set, the facsimile device can make a user know receipts of irregular mails such as an error mail, an e-mail without an attached file of predetermined format, and rough causes of the irregular mails.

  • Publication number: 20040186892
Abstract: A network scanner device for transmitting image data through networks, includes a reading section for scanning a document to obtain image data, a first setting section for setting up a recipient address to which the image data is to be transmitted, and a second setting section for setting up a sender address representing a sender in place of a sending station address specifying the device. It also includes a transmission control section for carrying out control for adding to the image data the sender address set by the second setting section and transmitting the image data to the recipient address set by the first setting section. Thereby, a person having performed an operation of image data transmission is capable of easily using reply mail and error mail responding to the transmission.

  • Patent number: 6356173
Abstract: A high-frequency module in which a plurality of cavities are formed on the surface of a dielectric board, internal high-frequency signal transmission lines are connected to high-frequency devices in the cavities and are located in the cavities, the internal high-frequency signal transmission lines being electromagnetically coupled to the external high-frequency signal transmission line, and the high-frequency devices in the cavities are connected to each other relying on the electromagnetic coupling through the external line. The high-frequency module enables high-frequency signals to be transmitted among the high-frequency devices with a small loss. The module has a very simple structure, and is cheaply produced, and offers an advantage that it can be easily obtained in a small size.

  • Publication number: 20010022670
Abstract: When confidential received image data is not retrieved from memory even when a predetermined time has passed, notification data indicating that the image data has not been retrieved is transmitted to the sender. The image data is deleted from a memory area upon completion of proper transmission of this notification data. Because image data deletion is carried out when transmission of notification data to the sender is complete, even if the confidential image data is deleted by the receiver, the sender is aware that the confidential image data was not received, and appropriate measures can be taken.
