The weight of the cartridge is measured before and after execution of one operation cycle of the pump, and it is determined whether the difference therebetween (i.e., weight of grease which is actually supplied during one operation cycle) is within an appropriate range or not.

    Abstract: A lubricant supply device that reliably removes air from lubricant such as grease and supplies the grease to an object of lubrication. An air detection sensor that detects air is disposed in a grease introduction hole of a grease transporting path. Grease supplied by a pump passes through the grease introduction hole, a chamber divided by a spool and a grease discharge port, and is introduced into the lubricated parts of a machine. If air in the grease is detected by the air detection sensor, a controller drives a switching valve, moves the spool by pressurized air, and connects the grease introduction hole to an air exhaust port. The air mixed in with the grease is then expelled from the air exhaust port. When the air detection sensor no longer detects air, the controller switches the switching valve, returns the spool to its original position, and discharges grease from the grease discharge port.

    Abstract: An abnormality detection apparatus for a mold clamping device, having a simple configuration that can be constructed inexpensively. A dog is mounted on the crosshead of a toggle mechanism of the mold clamping device and a proximity switch is mounted on a rear platen. The shape of the dog and the location of the mounting of the proximity switch are adjusted so that the proximity switch switches ON at a mold touch position of mold touch and switches OFF when the toggle mechanism, which generates a predetermined clamping force, locks up. An alarm is output if the length of time during which the proximity switch is ON during the process of clamping the mold or opening the mold exceeds a predetermined reference value. If in the interval from mold touch to lock-up a large load is put on a servo motor and a belt that drive the crosshead and an abnormality such as breakage of the belt or the like occurs during this interval, it can be detected at once.

    Abstract: A precharge voltage generating circuit outputs any of a plurality of kinds of precharge voltages in accordance with an ambient temperature. A precharge circuit supplies the precharge voltage to a bit line during the nonaccess of a dynamic memory cell. A sense amplifier amplifies a difference between the voltage of a data signal read from the dynamic memory cell onto the bit line and the supplied precharge voltage. The precharge voltage is altered in accordance with the ambient temperature, whereby the read margin of the sense amplifier can be changed, and the worst value of the data retaining time of the memory cell can be improved. As a result, the frequency of refreshing of the memory cell can be lowered, reducing power consumption and a standby current.

A rear plate is connected to the front plate by connecting members symmetrically arranged. The injection screw inserted in the heating barrel is rotatably supported by a pusher plate to which a ball nut is fixed. A ball screw engaged with the ball nut is rotatably supported by the rear plate. The pusher plate is supported and guided by the support/guide member, and moves forward to inject resin by the rotation of the ball screw. The support/guide member is supported by a supporting member fixed to the front plate.

    Abstract: A toggle type mold clamping mechanism for preventing the degradation of parallelism between stationary and movable platens, which is caused due to a clearance between a pin and a bushing, with use of a simple construction. A mold clamping force acting on the pin is transmitted through the bushing to a link L1, thereby moving the movable platen to perform mold clamping. A pre-pressure exerting in the same direction as the direction of a mold clamping force generated at the time of mold clamping is applied by a spring or the like to move the pin toward the link L1. Even a mold opening force is exerted at the time of mold opening, the pre-pressure c provided by the spring or the like keeps the position of the clearance ? between the pin and the bushing unchanged. Since the link L1 pulled by the spring or the like is moved to follow the pin (so that the pin is not moved alone by an amount of clearance ?), the parallelism between the stationary and movable platen is not degraded.

A rotation deflection of the bearing generated when the rotation transmission member is rotated by external power is absorbed by the thin portion (necking portion) formed on the rotation transmission member mounting portion.

    Abstract: The invention provides an injection molding machine injection unit that eliminates adverse effects on the load cell of belt tension due to belt drive. A load cell that detects resin pressure is mounted on a pusher plate and a rotation-transmitting member, on which an injection screw is fixedly mounted, is axially supported by an inner annular part of the load cell. The shaft of a pulley is axially supported on the pusher plate and coupled by splines to the rotation-transmitting member. A screw rotation motor is mounted on motor mounts of a housing mounted on the rear surface of the pusher plate. Tension on a belt run between the pulley and a pulley mounted on the motor output shaft concentrates a force at the base of the motor mounts. However, the housing is separate from the pusher plate and fixedly mounted on the pusher plate at a location other than that occupied by the base of the motor mounts.

    Abstract: Jack-up bolts are provided at two places along the rear platen movement direction on both sides of a lower part of a rear platen of an injection molding machine. The jack-up bolt engages threadedly with a bolt hole formed in the rear platen, and a lower end face of the jack-up bolt abuts on the upper surface of a slide plate to support the rear platen. A fixing bolt is inserted in a through hole formed in the jack-up bolt, and is threadedly engaged with a tap hole provided in the slide plate, by which the rear platen and the slide plate are integrated. The rear platen moves while being supported by the slide plate. When the tilt of the rear platen is corrected, the fixing bolt is loosened and the jack-up bolt is turned, by which a distance between the rear platen and the slide plate is adjusted.

    Abstract: In an enrollment mode a parameter value applied when a fingerprint pickup picks up an image of a fingerprint to be enrolled is stored to a non-volatile memory in association with image data. In an authentication mode the parameter value is read and set in the fingerprint pickup and a fingerprint is thus picked up. When an authentic, enrolled person undergoes fingerprint authentication a parameter value that matches an individual characteristic of the person is applied to pick up a fingerprint, and an image having a level of quality sufficient for authentication can be obtained. If a person other than an authentic, enrolled person undergoes fingerprint authentication, a parameter value that does not match an individual characteristic of the person is applied to pick up a fingerprint and an image signal is output, and this image signal cannot provide an image having sufficient quality. Only the image of the authentic, enrolled person can provide image quality sufficient for authentication.
