Patent number: 11866931Abstract: [Problem to be Solved ] To attain an incombustible sound absorption panel by providing incombustibility to a sound absorption/insulation sandwich panel containing a combustible material as a constituting material. [Solution to Problem] Fine powder of chips generated during cutting of a foam material to fill in a honeycomb material is located in a gap between the foam material and a sound absorption surface material. A gap between fibers of the sound absorption surface material is blocked by the chips having been moved by a flow such as a water vapor flow generated from hydrate of the honeycomb material heated on the occurrence of a fire. As a result, an air flow path is limited. Further, carbon dioxide gas generated from the foam material is trapped to reduce an oxygen amount, thereby inhibiting combustion. Usage of an adhesive as a combustible material is reduced.Type: GrantFiled: June 30, 2020Date of Patent: January 9, 2024Assignee: SHIZUKA CO., LTD.Inventor: Koichi Take

Patent number: 11495201Abstract: In a sound absorption panel formed by stacking a plate perforated with a hole having a hole size smaller than a fiber length such as expanded metal, a honeycomb material, and felt-like fiber between the perforated plate and the honeycomb material, and joining the perforated plate, the felt-like fiber, and the honeycomb material to each other with an adhesive, the adhesive applied to the perforated plate is permeated into a surface of the felt-like fiber exposed from the hole to fix the fiber on the surface.Type: GrantFiled: July 11, 2018Date of Patent: November 8, 2022Assignee: SHIZUKA CO., LTD.Inventors: Koichi Take, Tomohisa Nakamura, Yoshihiko Ueki

Patent number: 11241873Abstract: For forming a sound absorption/insulation honeycomb panel by stacking an air-permeable material, a honeycomb material filled with a sound absorption material and a reflector, and adhesively joining these materials, it is hard to join the honeycomb material and the air-permeable material adhesively due to a thin wall surface of the honeycomb material and a resultant line to surface adhesive joint therebetween, causing a problem of low adhesive strength. By using a water absorption honeycomb material, an adhesive joint is formed with an adhesive joint area increased by dipping an end of a wall surface of a cell forming the water absorption honeycomb material into a water-soluble adhesive, making the end flexible over a fixed period of time, and then pressing the end strongly against an air-permeable material as a counterpart of the adhesive joint to deform a tip into an inverted T-shape.Type: GrantFiled: June 26, 2019Date of Patent: February 8, 2022Assignee: SHIZUKA CO., LTD.Inventors: Koichi Take, Tomohisa Nakamura, Daisuke Iwasaki, Takuma Nemoto

Patent number: 9284728Abstract: A honeycomb panel laminate includes a sound absorbing face made of a foam, a sound absorbing layer, and a sound insulating face made of a foam. The sound absorbing layer is composed of a honeycomb material and a layer obtained by filling spaces with a hard foam material. The honeycomb material is bonded to the sound absorbing face by applying an adhesive to edges of the honeycomb material of the sound absorbing layer and pressing the edges against the sound absorbing face so that the edges bite into the foam. The sound insulating face is obtained by applying an adhesive allover a surface of the sound insulating face that makes contact with the honeycomb material and pressing opposite edges of cell walls of the honeycomb material against the sound insulating face so that the opposite edges bite into the surface, having the adhesive, of the foam.Type: GrantFiled: October 9, 2012Date of Patent: March 15, 2016Assignee: SHIZUKA CO., LTD.Inventors: Koichi Take, Kunio Takahashi, Shunji Takahashi, Yoshihiko Ueki

Publication number: 20150284947Abstract: [Problem to be Solved] In a laminated material based on a honeycomb material, there has been such a problem that the bonding between a honeycomb material serving as a base and two face materials between which the honeycomb material is sandwiched requires bonding between planar members having great rigidity with a high degree of planar accuracy and honeycomb members that are linear and not completely flat, thus making it to obtain a great deal of bonding force. [Solution] A honeycomb panel laminate includes a sound absorbing face, a sound absorbing layer, and a sound insulating face. The sound absorbing face is made of a foam. The sound absorbing layer is composed of a honeycomb material and a layer obtained by filling spaces with a hard foam material.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 9, 2012Publication date: October 8, 2015Inventors: Koichi Take, Kunio Takahashi, Shunji Takahashi, Yoshihiko Ueki
