  • Publication number: 20040036542
Abstract: A high-frequency circuit device includes a substrate and a high-frequency circuit. The high-frequency circuit is provided on the substrate and has a signal line. The signal line is configured with a slot line provided by electrodes that are arranged side-by-side with a space therebetween on the substrate. The slot line can facilitates circuit design compared to a microstrip line and has significantly low conduction loss compared to a coplanar line, and can improve the Q-value of the high frequency circuit. This can provide an improved high-frequency circuit device having small phase noise. The high-frequency circuit device, which also serves as an oscillator, employs a slot output and thus can provide an advantage of better continuity for a class-B push-pull amplifier that operates more efficiently than a class-A one.

  • Publication number: 20030098022
Abstract: A nebulizer includes a peak flow meter measuring the respiratory function of a patient and a nebulizer as a inhaler of a liquid medicine. The patient blows in the breath from a peak flow meter blow-in section of the nebulizer into the peak flow meter to measure the respiratory function. Further, the patient inhales the liquid medicine in a liquid medicine bottle inserted into a liquid medicine bottle insert opening from a nebulizer inhale opening. Simultaneously, outer air measurement is performed with a temperature sensor and a humidity sensor of the nebulizer. Such measurement data and inhale recording data are transmitted to a server from an external connection. Thus, a health site of the patient based on the data is opened on a network. The patient can obtain appropriate advice from a doctor, and a liquid medicine supply from a service provider at appropriate timing.

  • Patent number: 6566852
Abstract: The voltage generator includes the NPN transistor that flows a current corresponding to a voltage VOP output from the error detector. Furthermore, there is provided the current mirror circuit which includes two PNP transistors that flow currents which are multiples of the current that the NPN transistor flows. Furthermore, there are provided two resistors for generating a feedback voltage VFBK to the error detector from an output voltage VREG generated based on a current that the current mirror circuit flows.

  • Publication number: 20030060721
Abstract: In a blood pressure monitor, time habit data representing daily time habits of a patient and a plurality of timings for blood pressure measurement determined by a medical doctor are inputted. The predetermined timings are variably adjusted based on the daily time habit data, and results of blood pressure measurements at the specified timings are stored in a memory. A personal computer for the doctor of a medical facility receives and outputs information read out from the memory of the blood pressure monitor. Accordingly, blood pressure measurements can be performed in timings adjusted in accordance with the daily habit pattern of the patient, so that more accurate measurement can be achieved. Because information including such measurement data is presented to the doctor with diagnostic authority via the personal computer, the doctor can acquire useful information for assisting diagnosis and treatment of hypertension symptoms of the patient.

  • Publication number: 20010021203
Abstract: The data transmission and reception system comprises a data transmitter and a data receiver. The data transmitter generates and transmits a high-speed serial signal through a transmission path and the data receiver receives the serial signal. The data transmitter, when forming the frame for every tributary signal, inserts into the frame a frame bit indicating a boundary of the frame and, after having formed the frame, performs only a bit synchronization with respect to every tributary signal. On the other hand, the data receiver, for a respective tributary signal, stores a data indicated by the tributary signal and, in a timing based on a detection of the frame bit of the tributary signal and a reference frame pulse commonly issued between tributary signals, outputs the stored data to thereby perform the tributary synchronization.
