  • Patent number: 7779203
Abstract: For each RAID group to be determined for blocking, each disk is classified into three types of totalization unit based on the status of each disk belonging to the RAID group or the presence/absence of an access path to each disk, and the number of disks corresponding to each totalization unit is totalized. The totalization unit is a “used disk”, an “unused disk”, and a “loop-down disk”. The totalization result is compared with the threshold condition set for each RAID level (for example, “unused disk”=0 and “loop-down disk”=‘1 or more’), and the blocking possibility is determined.

  • Publication number: 20080010403
Abstract: A disk incorporation process unit 54 shares information (i.e., a common table) managed by a disk statistics unit 53 and judges whether or not to permit an incorporation of an installed disk by referring to the common table in the event of a discretionary disk having been isolated followed by the aforementioned disk being installed.

  • Patent number: 7262950
Abstract: A relay device includes plural relay units, each having a coil for opening/closing a contact point, a base plate made of resin and having wiring metal pieces, and a control circuit mounted on the base plate for controlling current supply to the coil. The control circuit has a function of stabilizing the holding current irrespective of environmental variation. Thus, the holding current can be further reduced and heating and power consumption can be reduced without losing the function of keeping the contact point state.

  • Publication number: 20060282638
Abstract: A storage system is comprised of a first processing unit (main CPU) comprising a first input/output control unit and a configuration management unit as execution targets, a second processing unit (sub CPU) comprising a second input/output control unit and a higher-priority control unit which has an execution priority higher than the second input/output control unit as execution targets, and a shared memory which is allocated with a configuration table storing configuration information.

  • Publication number: 20060139839
Abstract: A relay drive circuit includes a power supply circuit for producing a constant voltage, an initial energization circuit for performing an initial energization such that a power supply provides an initial energizing voltage to a relay, a low-holding energization circuit for performing a low-holding energization such that the constant voltage provides a constant current to the relay after the initial energizattion. Due to the low-holding energization, the relay contact can be firmly held even when relay coil resistance changes. The constant voltage for performing the low-holding energization is lower than the power supply voltage so that power consumption and heat generation can be reduced.

  • Publication number: 20050219827
Abstract: An electrical circuit device includes a controller, drivers, and a case. The controller inputs driving signals to the drivers. The drivers have multiple semiconductor relays that turn on and off power supply to electrical loads based on the driving signals. The drivers are housed in the case. The driving signals are transmitted from the controller to the drivers via serial communication. With this configuration, the number of communication lines and the communication connectors and the size of the electrical circuit device are small with respect to parallel communication. When another driver is added, only software modification of the controller and addition of a serial communication line between the controller and the driver are required. Thus, the electrical circuit device can be easily modified for different models of vehicles.
