The cyclic compounds are produced by reacting disiloxane diols with fluorinated organic silicon compounds in the presence of amine catalysts.

    Abstract: A purification method of a fluorine-containing alkylethylene comprises reacting the fluorine-containing alkylethylene with powdered metallic zinc in the presence of an aqueous acetic acid solution. By this method, fluorine-containing alkyl iodide and fluorine-containing alkylethyl iodide, contained as impurities in the fluorine-containing alkylethylene, can be removed effectively, for example, to a level of 1 ppm or below.

This composition can form a coating film having a low surface energy and therefore having good release properties, etc.

    Abstract: The principal ingredient of the surface-releasing agent is a coplymeric resin obtained by the polymerization of a monomer mixture composed of 50 to 99.5% by weight of a polyfluoroalkyl vinyl monomer such as 2-(perfluorooctyl)ethyl (meth)acrylate and (2) from 50 to 0.5% by weight of an organosilicon-containing vinyl monomer having at least one hydrolyzable group in a molecule such as vinyl triethoxy silane and 3-methacryloxypropyl trimethoxy silane, optionally, combined with other vinyl monomers. The surface-releasing agent is very effective even against silicone-based sticking adhesives.

The organopolysiloxane is a linear diorganopolysiloxane having at least one amino-substituted hydrocarbon group such as an aminopropyl group as the pendant group and the molecular chain ends of the molecule are terminated with alkoxy groups such as methoxy and ethoxy groups.
