  • Publication number: 20220291225
Abstract: A method of evaluating a function of an organ for transplantation harvested from a living body, the method includes preparing data representing change over time in content of marker substances in accordance with a perfusion, taking a first tissue sample from the organ for transplantation at first timing in a reperfusion of the organ for transplantation, taking a second tissue sample from the organ for transplantation at second timing after the first timing in the reperfusion, measuring contents of the marker substances in the first tissue sample, measuring contents of the marker substances in the second tissue sample, calculating change in content at the second timing as compared with the first timing for each of the marker substances, and calculating an indicator relating to evaluation of the function of the organ for transplantation using the calculated change in content and the data.

  • Publication number: 20220056115
Abstract: Provided herein are methods for treating liver injury (e.g., hepatic ischemia reperfusion injury (IRI)) or liver failure (e.g., acute liver failure) in a patient, comprising administering to the patient an anti-C5 agent (e.g., anti-C5 antibody, or antigen binding fragment thereof, such as eculizumab or ravulizumab). Also provided are methods for decreasing levels of one or more pro-inflammatory cytokines and/or one or more chemokines, decreasing neutrophil infiltration, increasing serum albumin, decreasing Prothrombin Time (PT), and decreasing International Normalized Ratio (INR) in a patient by administering to the patient an anti-C5 agent, such as an antibody, or antigen binding fragment thereof.

  • Publication number: 20130020032
Abstract: A window shade device including a shade, a pair of rails disposed so as to have a gradually decreasing spacing therebetween from proximal ends to distal ends thereof, a housing device disposed on the proximal end side, a drawing member supporting a drawing-side edge of the shade, and a pair of runners connected to both ends of the drawing member and configured to respectively move along the pair of rails. Upon the pair of runners being guided by the pair of rails to move, the drawing member deforms to have a dimension varying in the width direction of the shade, and causes the drawing-side edge of the shade to advance and retract in the drawing/housing direction such that the drawing-side edge is disposed on the drawing side exceeding the pair of runners in a state in which the shade is drawn.

  • Publication number: 20130008615
Abstract: Included are: a shade; a pair of rails disposed so as to have a gradually increasing spacing therebetween from a proximal end to a distal end thereof; a housing device disposed on the proximal end side, to which the shade is mounted so as to be drawn therefrom and housed therein; a drawing member that includes a plurality of shade support parts supporting a drawing-side edge of the shade at a plurality of positions in a width direction and is configured to become larger and smaller such that intervals of the plurality of shade support parts become larger and smaller in the width direction; and a pair of runners connected to the drawing member and configured to move along the pair of rails. The drawing member deforms to become larger and smaller as the pair of runners are guided by the pair of rails to move.
