Abstract: A method for selling merchandise according to working example 1 mainly uses the Internet (100), merchandise sale supporting means (eyeglasses sale supporting means) (10) managed by an eyeglasses seller (merchandise seller), and merchandise purchase supporting means (311, 312, . . . , 31n) managed by eyeglasses shop (merchandise shops). Bidding data about desired merchandise purchase prices and sale supporting services is received from registered merchandise shops. Therefore the benefits of the selling and purchase sides are ensured, and efficient service support and selling price setting for each of merchandise shops of different scales are made, thus providing a technique relating to a merchandise selling method and merchandise purchase method by which prices are easily adjusted.

Abstract: A method for managing the physical distribution of merchandise by mainly using the Internet (100), merchandise sale supporting means (10) used by an eyeglasses seller (merchandise seller), inventory management means (311, 312, . . . , 31n) operated in eyeglasses shops (merchandise shops). Shops are registered, and POS is used by using a technique of reading a bar code such as a two-dimensional bar code or a technique such as an OCR for reading a character or a symbol, information about the merchandise inventory of the shops is monitored through the Internet, and all necessary merchandise is ordered at a time, thereby efficiently lowering the cost of the merchandise.

While replying the inquiry about eyeglasses of a user according to the results of optometry and the characteristics of an eyeglasses frame and a lens adaptive to information unique to the user, optimum eyeglasses conditions are selected, thus providing a merchandise sale support method in which an eyeglasses maker best meeting the conditions is instructed to make eyeglasses through a network.
